Fancy a roll of the dice, friend?

This deck is based all around rolling at many dice at possible, kind of like the Heads I win, Tails you lose deck from secret lair.

While by no means a competitive deck, it can hold its own and quite often can punch above it's weight.

Farideh, as one of the few dice rolling commanders in the game, was a shoe in.

Her ability allows us to be flexible with how the deck is built and gives us a draw engine, though slightly unreliable, can easily be built around.

He ability to gain menace and flying whenever we roll a dice is also not to be underestimated.

[Farideh, Devil's Chosen] [Rhystic Study] [Netherese Puzzle-Ward] [Ancient Silver Dragon] [Djinni Windseer] [Simon, Wild Magic Sorcerer] [Diviner's Portent] [Wizard Class] [Contact Other Plane]

While not the greatest, nor the cheapest mana wise, each of the draw cards adds up with a health amount of scry added in to help us ensure we can draw what we want.

[Gamble] [Mystical Tutor] [Trophy Mage] [Reckless Handling] [Moonsilver Key] [Fabricate] [Vexing Puzzlebox]

Most of the time, a priority target for our tutors is either [Vexing Puzzlebox] or [Component Pouch]. These are because they provide consistent rolls for Farideh to pop off and allow us to draw, and are usually part of our win cons. [Darksteel Reactor] is another good target, as is [Dismantle]

This deck has several win cons, most integrating with each other.

The first revolves around the use of Dismantle + Vexing Puzzlebox . Vexing puzzle box adds charge counters to itself based on the result of every dice rolled. Dismantle can move these counters to another target artifact, of which we have several targets.

  • The first is [Darksteel Reactor], an instant wincon if we've rolled even slightly well.
  • The second is [Ebony Fly]. Putting 50+ +1/+1 counters on an artifact that flys and can briefly turn into a creature, helping it avoid removal, will help remove players.
  • The last is Everflowing Chalice + Fireball . By putting the charge counters on the chalice before tapping it, we can use the large amount of mana to outright kill player(s). These are very weak to losing vexing puzzle box.

The second is a voltron style beat down. With the equipment we have in the deck, we can take advantage of Farideh ability to gain menace and flying to hit face and gain advantages.

Currently considering swapping out for Curiousity and Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Having a more reliable win con in the jank deck could give it a definitive threat.

Mind over matter allows Farideh and Vexing Puzzle box to possibly generate us semi infinite mana and card draw, as well as a large amount of charge counters on Vexing Puzzle box, allowing us to tutor for artifacts and search our deck for our win cons.

Swapping in All Will Be One. Vexing Puzzle box adding counters triggers it quite nicely. However, it draws a lot of attention from our opponents when it does, drawing removal towards the box. As the box is the one efficent way to trigger All Will Be One as well, if we don't draw the box or it's in the gravyard, it's a dead card.
