Derevi is a very interesting ability, because he has the ability of getting flashed in from the Command Zone without commander tax, and this deck is all about taking advantage of that with a control. This deck also includes a Flash Hulk Combo which I've come to enjoy a ton, which can include exiling your opponents entire deck, infinitely bounce permanents and counter spells back to their hand, and repeatedly tapping down their lands. Aura Shards is very powerful, because you are able to repeatedly destroy artifacts with something like Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and a Panharmonicon. You can also do a 2 card infinite mana combo which includes Peregrine Drake and Deadeye Navigator which is very easy to spot as infinite mana, since you're untapping 5 mana and only using 2 to bounce them, which is very easy to do. There's also a fun counterspell, which is, if something your opponent controls will screw you over in any way, and even if you can counter it, they have something like Animate Dead, Render Silent will prevent all spells they are casting, which is amazing in a situation where you could lose. Winter Orb is insanely good with Derevi, as you can repeatedly tap down your opponents lands whenever they untap their lands, which makes Derevi very powerful in the community of people who love control decks.
