Muxus, Goblin Grandee for CCMTG Stream 7/25 Nate L

Not much removal with a few contingency plans. Deck heavily revolves around Muxus, Goblin Grandee and Imperial Recruiter and requires quite a few rocks to reliably get them out early. If all goes south and you end up with a big portion of combos in the yard Goblin Engineer for Lion's Eye Diamond and hope or push for Lion's Eye Diamond + Underworld Breach combo, which should get you back up to speed, focus on combo pieces such as Lightning crafter and Kiki-Jiki.

-Main Combos-

Combo 1: Goblin Recruiter + Muxus, Goblin Grandee .

  • Use tutors(gamble, imperial recruiter, goblin matron) to find and play Goblin Recruiter and organize top of deck being sure to put Lightning Crafter within the first 4-6 cards to prevent mill. If you need to cast Muxus on the following turn be sure to place a buffer goblin card before the first 6.

Library Order(If no Mill): Lightning Crafter>Goblin Chirurgeon>Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker>Skirk Fire Marshal>Mogg Maniac>Krenko, Mob Boss>Goblin Warchief>5 other goblins>Changeling Berserker> 11 other goblins.

  • Play Muxus, Goblin Grandee and put the top 6 goblins on to the battlefield, Champion Muxus with Lightning crafter. Tap Kiki-Jiki to make a copy of Lightning Crafter, in response sacrifice Lightning Crafter to Goblin Chirurgeon, which brings Muxus back to the battlefield causing his ability to trigger again, with the new copy of lightning crafter champion Muxus, and sacrifice the copy of lightning crafter. When Changeling Berserker etb champion Muxus and sacrifice it to Goblin Chirurgeon. Muxus ETB again.
  • Tap Krenko to produce X 1/1 goblins where X is the amount on the battlefield(23 if you sacrificed lightning crafter twice and continued the loop with Changeling Berserker.)
  • Activate Skirk Fire Marshall's ability in 3 different iterations by tapping 5 goblins at a time and dealing 10 damage directly to yourself, your opponents and all creatures. Deal an additional 10 damage to target opponent using each Brash Taunter and Mogg Maniac, making sure to keep Mogg Maniac and your untapped goblins alive with Goblin Chirurgeon's ability by sacrificing tapped goblins. You should have ~46 goblins if there weren't any on the field before Muxus. First iteration of damage will leave you with 23 goblins, second will leave you with 11, third will leave you with 5. Three iterations should be enough to kill 3 opponents. Go to combat if needed to not kill yourself.

Combo 2:Goblin Recruiter + Muxus, Goblin Grandee

  • Use Goblin recruiter to grab Lightning Crafter>Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker>Skirk Prospector>Goblin Chirurgeon.
  • When Lightning Crafter etbs champion any goblin already on the battlefield(Goblin Recruiter for this example).
  • Tap Kiki-Jiki targeting Lightning Crafter, to create a copy of Lightning Crafter with haste.
  • When the copy enters the battlefield, Champion Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker.
  • Tap the copy of Lightning Crafter to deal 3 damage to target creature or player. Sacrifice the copy of Lightning Crafter to Skirk Prospector or Goblin Chirurgeon, bringing back Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker untapped and repeat.

This is a good first early combo attempt, if you're afraid of counters go with this combo early on to reduce running the risk of being out of the game indefinitely.

Combo 3:Goblin Recruiter + Muxus, Goblin Grandee

  • Play goblin recruiter to line up Pashalik Mons>Skirk Prospector>Conspicuous Snoop>Goblin WarchieforGoblin Chieftain>2 Goblins>Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker.
  • Use Kiki-Jiki's ability through Conspicuous Snoop to create infinite copies of Conspicuous Snoop. Sacrifice infinite Snoops through Skirk Prospector to deal *infinite damage from Pashalik Mons triggered ability.
  • If needed, produce infinite mana from this loop to use Pashalik Mons' activated ability to make infinite goblins who will be eligible for attacks because of a haste enabler.
