I wanted to build Vorel for a few reasons:

1. He's immediately underestimated - Looking at him he isn't very special looking next to other powerful generals out there

2. He's different, taking advantage of counters via your commander is a fun concept to me that my opponents will not be replicating

3. Simic is a fascinating color combo big brawn and big brains joining forces

That said Vorel is basically going to take every charge counter card, +1 +1 and the like and make them viable or extra viable
