My casual version of Tayam. If you have a larger budget and can afford to put in fetchlands, Mana Crypt etc. feel free to do so. Also, if you have any, add some shocklands...

Warning

If you or your playgroup do not like decks which take rather complex 10 minute turns which, in the end, cause the rest of the table to lose the game, this deck is probably not what you want to be playing. Comboing off in this deck feels like playing Solitaire and requires a lot of routine to consider all the triggers.

Why play Tayam?

Tayam, Luminous Enigma is one of the B Commanders in the Commander 2020 product, yet he proves to be superior to Kathril, Aspect Warper in terms of speed, utility and can win in a single turn. Tayam, Luminous Enigma turns your graveyard into an extension of your hand. What you want to do is to make sure that you put a lot of counters on creatures you control ( Winding Constrictor proved to be a gem here) and then generate the mana to use Tayams ability to mill your deck until you can assemble one of the winning combos. The deck consists mostly of spells with CMC 3 or less due to Tayam, Luminous Enigmas ability to bring them back into play.

Protection

Spore Frog can be resurrected over and over to prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to you. Voltron Players will not like this guy.

Cauldron Haze and Cauldron of Souls save your creatures from boardwipes or (most) other removal. The ability to put +1/+1 counters on your creatures also enables you to use Cauldron of Souls over and over again.

If your combo pieces in your Graveyard have been removed by Graveyard Hate or other circumstances would make you lose to self-mill, or just as a response to Graveyard Hate like Bojuka Bog or Tormod's Crypt, Elixir of Immortality is a lifesaver.

How to win

Promise of Bunrei + Cathodion or Priest of Gix + any Sacrifice outlet ( Ashnod's Altar, Carrion Feeder, Bloodflow Connoisseur) + Tayam, Luminous Enigma = Mill your entire deck until you can bring Zulaport Cutthroat or Corpse Knight back into play, then continue with the above to win.

Sacrifice two nontoken creatures to any sacrifice outlet, play Caller of the Claw to create two Bears, distribute a total of 3 Vigilance counters by Tayam, Luminous Enigma, add an additional counter each time with Winding Constrictor or add other Counters with Good-Fortune Unicorn or Juniper Order Ranger, then sacrifice the Caller and a Bear token to Ashnod's Altar if you do not have any mana left and keep resurrecting Caller of the Claw, generate tons of Bears or win by draining your opponents.

Those are the main combos, you can use all the mana and counters you have in order to dig for the individual combo pieces.

Cards like Death's Presence and Golgari Germination help to gain more counters when you bring a creature back into play and allow you to "store" counters to help you go off. You can also use them to try to win the old fashioned way. Resurrecting Kitchen Finks can also enable infinite life gain with Ashnod's Altar and Caller of the Claw or Golgari Germination and a few cards which distribute counters.

Conclusion

Tayam, Luminous Enigma is a strong combo commander who can go off easily if the right combo pieces are in your Graveyard. What makes this deck so great is the larg number of interchangeable combo pieces in the deck which allow you to be a bit more free and flexible with your plays. If you manage to fly under the radar for a bit in a 4 Player game you have a good chance of winning but after you did that 2 or 3 times, your table is probably aware of the fact that your deck should not be allowed to assemble a lot of value.

That's all, have fun playing and losing some friends in the process!
