Sideboard

Ah Nazahn, Revered Bladesmith. For ages I'd wanted a good cat equipment deck, but with most being mono-white, I just didn't want to stick with Kemba, Kha Regent. Then Commander 2017 came out and bingo, a GW Catmander that focuses on equipment.

This deck is super simple, and as simple as it is, it has proven to be quite strong. Not oppressively so, but in a way that can either be a slow burn until your advantage is too big or explode into the lead. You can go wide using Kemba, Kha Regent to rally the troops and Raksha Golden Cub to inspire them to claw faces off, or go tall, stacking all your equipment on someone like Jareth, Leonine Titan to plow through or past your opponent's defenders. It can get ahead quickly and consistently, and all without breaking your bank account.

I intend to develop it bit by bit, swapping some equipment for others as I see fit, but I don't want to go too competitive with this deck. It's a fun deck and I don't expect it to win all the time, but when it does, it does in interesting ways.

Obviously your goal is equipment and loading up your creatures, and using Leonin Shikari to let your equipment get tossed around like a hot potato. Card draw, board wipes, recovering things from the graveyard, it's got a bit of everything for the situation at hand. A couple tutors for your equipment and creatures exist. Nothing spells victory like dropping a ton of cats and chuckling as your opponents watch you equip Raksha and swing in, killing them all in one combat.

I know there are plenty of tweaks to make and I intend to shift it more towards equipment bit by bit, but I like cat equipment too, so I doubt it'll change too much, it's not meant to be competitive. Hope you enjoy this casual deck of mine!

Updates Add

A few tweaks to increase or change mana ramp. I realized there wasn't enough. Here we go! Ashnod's Altar, Zendikar Resurgent, Hedron Archive, Relic Crush, Heirloom Blade, and Hour of Promise all out, Selesnya Cluestone, Selesnya Keyrune, Selesnya Signet, Search for Tomorrow, Talisman of Unity, and Blossoming Sands all in. Just some are to replace later acceleration and rocks with lower CMC cards, one more land, and a useful Suspend card both early and late. All pretty straightforward.
