I know there are much better way to reanimate creature from Graveyard than Isareth's ability, but it is not as bad as you think for the first sight. The deck is a massive creature destroyer deck with many creature with ETB ability. (Isareth can use them twice.) It is also a light Voltron since there are some artifacts in it ( Lashwrithe , Nightmare Lash , Blackblade Reforged ) with which Isareth's power can be pumped up. Cards that can put creatures to the Graveyard from the Library are really useful in this deck ( Buried Alive , Final Parting , Corpse Connoisseur .) Since Isareth is quite a cheap commander Skull Storm is also really effective with her.
