Deck Objectives

  • Vampire Tribal: Passively create lots of Vampire creature tokens by casting lots of Vampire creature spells.

  • Go Wide: Passively create lots of creature tokens.

  • Go Tall: Passively put lots of +1/+1 counters on my creatures.

  • Hit Hard: Passively deal non-combat damage to each opponent.

  • Hit Often: Passively return Vampires from my graveyard to the battlefield or to my hand.

General Notes

  • This deck avoids lots of passive "creatures you control get +1/+1" effects (except for the "Stromkirk Captain" who also gives all of our vampires First Strike and "The Immortal Sun" which also gives us several other benefits). We want to keep as many of our creatures at 2 power or less when they enter the battlefield to enable the card draw effect from the "Welcoming Vampire" and the "gain and drain" effect from the "Wispdrinker Vampire".
