I love Izzet, I had to make a second deck, because my mizzix is so cut throat, she rarely gets pulled out. So I made a Melek deck that kind of storms, but doesn't really have any storm cards in it. Instead it has really high mana sinks after you start to generate loads of mana in order to gain massive board state advantage then protect your state with removal and counters.

In theory anyways... and that's where the heart of the Izzet mage lies.
