I get casting instants with foretell. But do cards that give flash Hypersonic Dragon allow non-instant foretold spells to be cast on opponent's turns?

Note that copying Repeated Reverberation with Reverberate is the same as casting Repeated Reverberation, then immediately casting a second one before it resolves (maybe you have a Hypersonic Dragon. If instead you cast Repeated Reverberation, let it resolve, and then cast a second one, you'll end up with 2 copies of Repeated Reverberation in addition to the real one, meaning the next instant or sorcery you cast will be copied six times (2+2+2).

Trade Hypersonic Dragon for Goldspan Dragon , and Farideh, Devil's Chosen for Jhoira's Familiar Good treasure tribal cards are Xorn and Dockside Extortionist

You will have a lot of mana sitting around from Galazeth Prismari turning your artifacts into Arcane Signet , you can look into using X spells as win conditions like Earthquake , Fault Line , Finale of Revelation , Expansion / Explosion , Comet Storm , Blue Sun's Zenith , and just generally good spells like Omniscience .

Saheeli's Artistry and Invoke the Firemind are good options for trade ins depending on if you're looking to win through spell slinging over combat tricks.

This might be sacrilegious, but I never cared much for planeswalkers, even though some are very powerful. So Sarkan definitely makes me roll my eyes.

Dragonmaster Outcast is better than Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker as well imo.

TriusMalarky I do dig your strategy and can't argue with your ranking. If I had to guess, I'd say that Hypersonic Dragon 's ability is really for decks that rely on the "overload" mechanic to play something like Mizzium Mortars at instant speed. It definitely is not designed to compliment a dragon themed deck despite the sweet card art.

Maybe in an "overload" focused deck Hypersonic could see some play, but you would need an arcane knowledge of sorceries which I lack.

Has it really?

On the topic of dragons with equivalent mana costs, thoughts on Thundermaw Hellkite and Stormbreath Dragon ?

It's a shame Hypersonic Dragon doesn't do as well as these other cards in a 60 card deck. Well, I can always use it in casual against crappy decks:)

I think I get it now! In magic you want to have more 4 of or 3 of cards, specifically cards that cost 2,3,4 to cast, but when it comes to cards that cost 5,6 or 7, those are generally the cards you have 1 of or 2 of depending on your strategy.

So I would want only 2 Hypersonic Dragon or 1 Niv-Mizzet, Parun but 4 of a card like Dragonlord's Servant , Guttersnipe , or Thunderbreak Regent .

I think want you're trying to tell me is that problem with my deck is I run 4 high cost dragons, but then when it comes to my low cost instants or creatures--there is too much diversity for it to be consistent.

I guess I still remember playing magic way back in middle school, when games were long and drawn out so the goal was to play as many large creatures as possible.

It seems that as you progress you games are so quick you generally won't be casting four+ 5 cost cards, you usually want to win before that happens.

Ex. I probably won't play multiple Predator Dragon s, but I will probably play multiple Sprite Dragon s. So I want more of the latter...
