Welcome to the Octagon! Hosting this spectacle of a match is the commander, Neyith of the Dire Hunt. She may seem small at only 3 power, but let me tell you she's a team player. Card draw, doubling strength, forcing blocks. She's definitely feisty. But let's look at some of the sluggers backing her up.

Defending the title, we have some heavy hitters. Apex Altisaur can systematically clear our opponents' boards of major threats. Plus, with separate fight triggers, we will be drawing multiple cards off of Neyith. Nylea, Keen-Eyed has an activated ability that can stab us in the back, however she offers two perks. One, she reduces the cost of our creatures. This helps in the long run, since some of our big swingers have high costs. Two, she's indestructible. So she can repeatedly fight with other creatures and not worry about dying. Next in the line up, Wurmcoil Engine. This nasty brute is big enough to survive most encounters, however he's packing a nasty deathtouch left swing that will knock out the biggest monstrosities.

Now we have a little janky support to knock our opponents off their feet. Polyraptor plus Gruul Ragebeast is a janky board wipe that has a few additional benefits. Each token entering play triggers the Ragebeast individually, meaning multiple triggers from Neyith. Plus, once the dust settles we will have a nasty board presence that our opponents will struggle to handle. This may seem like a simple brawl, but we are packing more than just simple boxing gloves. We have some nastier equipment in mind. Scythe of the Wretched is a nasty weapon that will let us not just kill off our opponent's creatures, but also steal them. Magebane Armor provides pseudo-indestructible for our fighters. Since fighting is not combat damage, we can count on our creatures surviving the toughest fist fights.

The deck includes one other nasty surprise. Every fighter is willing to put their heart and soul into a fight, so to represent this Fling is included. Between our commander and other cards like Xenagos, God of Revels and Kessig Wolf Run, we have plenty of ways to make our heavy swingers even heavier. So, why not throw one last punch into our opponents' jaw?

This is such a simple, straight-forward deck and I'm looking forward to taking it for a swing. Let me know what you think!
