Jank Zedruu stax deck designed around text changing mechanics like Magical Hack .

Give your friends a lovely leech with Zedruu or her eager apprentice and use a color hack like Sleight of Mind to change the leech's rules text. What? You have to pay one extra white mana for every green spell you cast in your Omnath, Locus of Rage deck? And you're not running any white mana in your gruul colors? Damn dude I'm sorry.

Use Celestial Dawn to fix your mana however you wish. If you play Blood Moon and then Celestial Dawn , the former's effect is asymmetrical thanks to janky layering rules. Decide you'd rather ruin someone's game instead of fix your mana? Float mana, land hack Celestial Dawn , and give it away . What's that? Your lands are all swamps and they can only pay for colorless costs? You mean you can't cast your spells anymore? Man that sucks my b.

Deck includes other color based interactions that you can change at your discretion in order to generate value tailored to any given situation i.e. Eight-and-a-Half-Tails , Llawan, Cephalid Empress , Douse , Hydroblast , etc.

Don't forget to donate symmetrical stax pieces like Meekstone and Rest in Peace to your opponents with Zedruu to buffer your life total and maintain card advantage while everyone else is shut down.

Also threw in some solid wincons to end everyone's misery. We've got several ways to mill our opponents to death with combos like Grindstone + Painter's Servant , Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace , and Thought Lash + Zedruu the Greathearted . Alternatively, we can use these same tools to mill ourselves and win with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Thassa's Oracle .
