Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun

Legendary Creature — Human Cleric

At the beginning of combat on your turn, target creature token you control gets +1/+1 until end of turn and can't be blocked this turn.

Embalm [symbol:U]] (, Exile this card from your graveyard: Create a token that's a copy of it, except it's a white Zombie Human Cleric with no mana cost. Embalm only as a sorcery.)

Some thoughts:

Since your commander already gives evasion, I don't think you need both Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves.

The group decided Cyclonic Rift is banned in tier 3. I don't know what tier these decks are considered...

Burgeoning is less good the fewer lands you have in the deck. I don't think you will find it as helpful as you would want it to be. I think you have enough ramp to not need it, but if you want something that will ramp similarly to that, consider Carpet of Flowers or Utopia Sprawl.

I like Distortion Strike and Artful Dodge in more casual decks, but I think they are simply less good in commander. I think it would be better to have creatures that simply are unblockable. I do see the value of making anything (including your stand alone commander) unblockable, but only being able to do it twice isn't good enough in my mind. Aqueous Form is great! But some suggested replacements (with extra upsides) for the others are Invisible Stalker, Flitterstep Eidolon, Mercurial Spelldancer, Suspicious Stowaway  Flip, Silhana Ledgewalker, Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun, Surge Engine. I also think these cards would be better than Wu Light Cavalry, Treetop Scout, and Nettle Sentinel (not sure why this is in the deck).

I like a little bit of additional flicker magic for value, but I think Yorion, Sky Nomad and Roon of the Hidden Realm are too slow. I like Brago, King Eternal and Displacer Kitten.

Mavinda, Students' Advocate doesn't seem to fit here. It only works with instant and sorceries that are targeting creatures you control. Yes, it works with Distortion Strike, but Artful Dodge already has flashback, and it isn't good enough to include mavinda only for Cloudshift and Distortion Strike. I think it can go along with the other two.

You have 18 instances of ramp. I think this may be too much. initial cuts: Llanowar Elves, Ranger's Path, and Burgeoning. Growth Spiral is good, but I think you need to be playing 2 more lands to include. Nature's Lore and Three Visits are great, but you need more dual lands with basic land types to make those good. Otherwise, Rampant Growth is better. Other thing to consider here: If you have fewer mana rocks, the better chance that your commander's ability will help you blow up artifacts. I guess in general, you may want to try to limit the number of card types you play.

Treva's Ruins and Flood Plain seem too slow. And again, as a midrange value deck, I think you need to be playing at least 38 lands.

I think Venser, the Sojourner is better here than Sun Quan, Lord of Wu. You can make the team unblockable for one less mana, and if that isn't helpful at the time, you can flicker stuff while you wait. Ultimating is just an insane bonus.

I gotta go, but I will try to come back and offer some suggestions on other cards you should include!

BRAZATO on What is your favorite Plane, …

Withouth any doubt my favourite plane is AMONKHET.

I love ancient Egypt, I had the luck to already visit Egypt and enjoy their ruins, museums and natural enviroments. I love their rich culture, their complex mythology and their awesome landscapes, from the rocky valleys and the sand deserts filled with tombs, funerary temples and pyramids, to the rich oasis and riversides of the Nile full of life and vegetation.

Until Amonkhet came out, many egypt fans like me were hoping for and egyptian plane very hard, and Amonkhet was the final gift.

I love how WotC team designed a new fantastic culture clearly inspired in ancient Egypt but with their own imaginative touch. The concept of the city of Nakthamun being a rich oasis protected from the perils of the deserts fits well the relationship of egyptians with the river Nile, living in their fertile sides, while buring their deads in the dry desertic west grounds.

The chosen mechanics like embalm to represent mummification, the deserts, and cycling to represent the need to seek and recycle in a hard desert enviroment where very fitting.

The awesome gods were also both recognizable and original: Oketra the True as an allusion to the protective but warrior feline goddesses Sejmet and Bastet, Rhonas the Indomitable as a reinterpretation of the guardian cobra god Wadjet but in a more savage way, Hazoret the Fervent as a twisted concept of Anubis (still being related to the afterlife journy) but with some "red" aspects of the desert and war god Seth, Kefnet the Mindful clearly as the sage ibis god Toth, and Bontu the Glorified as a mix of the river god Sobek and the monstrous goddess Ammyt, who keeped the passage to the afterlife devouring the souls of the not worthy ones.

The fallen gods also where awesome, representing with The Scorpion God the perils of the desert and the scorpion goddess Serket, The Scarab God being a reference to Kephri, wich represented the cycle of solar resurrection but in a more "evil" way, and finally The Locust God as a wink to the hebrew's famous myth of the plagues of Egypt. And Nicol Bolas was the perfect villain, bein a subbtle reference to the chaos serpent Aphopis.

Other famous characters where also referenced, like Cleopatra with her death myth caused by an snake bite in Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and the young-deceased pharaoh Tutankhamun in Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun.

I'm hopping to return to Amonkhet in the future, to know how their people have reconstructed their civilization after Hour of Devastation, having a new Hazoret card and maybe new risen gods or the appearance of unknown ones... and of course more egyptian flavored legends for EDH!!!

Temmet, Anointed Overseer

Legendary Creature - Human Cleric

Whenever you cast a creature spell from your graveyard, create a tapped 2/2 black zombie token.

Whenever you cast a noncreature spell from your graveyard, draw a card.

2/2

Inspired by my earlier comment about how Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun was a bit weak. Here's a new version.

Create a legendary creature card from the character Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077.

^ I love everything about that one. Very nice! It really makes me wish that Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun was a better card, but alas...

Does 20 total cards count a mechanic as "niche"? If so, I pick goad.

Pot Stirrer

Creature - Goblin

Whenever one or more goaded creatures attack, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card.

1/1

"Really? You don't say... you know, I heard that..."

For a double pun, he's also a chef.

I saw a post on the MTG reddit page a few days ago (a place I try not to visit often as reddit is not a very positive place in my experience) that had some stats on commanders released this year. I can't find the post, but it said that there were very few three colored commanders released this year compared to mono colored and two colored ones. Make a three color commander with flavor text!

RambIe on Sweet tech I want to …

P.S. you could take cards like
Spelltithe Enforcer, Vryn Wingmare, & Windborn Muse
but then add cards like
Rite of Replication, Quasiduplicate, & Followed Footsteps
it should help buy the time you need pull off your combos

o and Stolen Identity seems like it would could be amazing with Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun
Cipher it onto a token you control then let your commander make it unblockable

Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun is a unique cmdr. An deck that cares about tokens and cares about swinging with them. I was looking at the encore cards and BOOM! I saw Soul of Eternity. If you encore this bad boy out with the most life and your cmdr is in play. GG folks. Of course you might want Grand Abolisher in play or other similar effects to make sure this happens. But wow kinda cool little 2 piece game winning combo there. It's not infinite and 1 of the 2 peices is your cmdr who is in the cmd zone. Simple combo and sweet tech.

Just wanted to share that with everyone.

Want something off-beat? How about Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer ?

Want a brew where your long-sought-after Doubling Season really works double duty? How about Marath, Will of the Wild ?

Wanna really have a game where you're spinning the wheel? Atla Palani, Nest Tender . Like a token Cascade!

Wanna be the unconventional token strat that goes tall instead of wide? Take a look at Feldon of the Third Path !

Krenko, Mob Boss can get out of hand, I'm sure.

You could sac your way to the win or just go wide with Prossh, Skyraider of Kher !

Need something totally typical? Might I suggest Rhys the Redeemed ?

How about Rith, the Awakener devotion tokens. I hear White has some good stuff for that?

Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and Izoni, Thousand-Eyed look like they've got a good thing going...

Wanna get creative? Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun is a unique choice, but how much support does he have? Quasiduplicate is a good start.

Teysa Karlov is sitting in the middle of the Orzhov web of power. Know what that means? Lots of tokens and a lot more death.

Need to come out of nowhere with an enormous beat stick? Ulasht, the Hate Seed is your beat stick!!

Valduk, Keeper of the Flame is another beefy boi who benefits from auras and equipments a lot... as do Tana, the Bloodsower and Siona, Captain of the Pyleas ... Here's something else entirely. Voltron tokens?

Hope that was enough options.

Sorceries: If you need some good board wipes for a reasonable cost (money wise, sadly not mana wise), I would look at something like Heaven//Earth (It couldnt find this card for some reason), You can take out flyers one turn and then save mana and let everyone forget that you have a nice boardwipe to cast right from your graveyard! In that vain of mana sinks Cut//Ribbons (It couldnt find this card for some reason) can also just end games if you can get enough mana for the second half of the spell, and as long as your graveyard isnt exiled you can get everyone at anytime. If you plan on having a good chunk of creatures tapped Harvest Season can be excellent ramp, as long as you are running a decent amount of basics. Never/Return is a good spot removal spell in your set as well, as you can take out any creature or planeswalker if needed. Beneath the Sands is a good ramp spell, that has cycling in case you don't need it. Hour of Revelation is also a great board wipe if needed.

Instants: If you want some counter spells, Cancel and Countervailing Winds are some of the better options available to you. Sadly there isn't a lot in the set to specifically target down artifacts and enchantments, but I do like Forsake the Worldly , Dissenter's Deliverance and Commit//Memory (It couldnt find this card for some reason). Hour of Glory seems like a good option for some creature removal as well, but there seems to be a lot of that from this block in particular

Artifacts/Enchantments: Seems good in these category might want to consider a mana rock like Pyramid of the Pantheon , it starts out slow, but can become a great mana source afterwards, as well as something like Sunset Pyramid for a bit of card advantage then some selection. Same goes for Riddleform , but instead of advantage it gives you a creature for a turn. and Cast Out can help take a permanent out for a bit if needed.

Planeswalkers: This one is a weird category for me to make remarks on. I know that not everyone likes Planeswalkers, but I love them. That being said though, this set has a few interesting ones, that might not be able to help you particularly much on one hand, Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh is an insane game closer, but is a bit expensive(both mana and money wise). Samut, the Tested can provide huge versatility, isn't too bad price wise, and is probably one of the better options for you. Gideon of the Trials is a pretty good flavor win, and has some good versatility but you have to pick between him being an attacker or protecting you from something big on board. and the only other one I'd even consider would probably be Nissa, Steward of Elements , not because shes that great, but because she can give you some card selection and even some good value with her [0] ability if used with her [+2]. I would only pick one or two of these though depending on the slots you have left from other stuff, as they give you some good value, but don't always progress your game plan with the deck by themselves.

Creatures: For the most part your creatures are fine. I'll just be putting in some suggestions for other options/utility. That being said Angel of Condemnation can be slow but ultimately help create mana ramp by flickering golos, then taking out some important creatures your opponents might lay down. Dreamstealer can offer some pretty good disruption against your opponents and make them have to keep a couple of creatures back as blockers. Majestic Myriarch might be a good finisher, but you might be good on those. Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun is also great for token decks.

Last but not least: Lands: These seem to be good, but watch out as too many utility lands can hurt your deck, and just make sure you add enough basics in for searches to actually grab the color you need. There are the cycling lands for this set, but they can be pricey :(
