Originally intended as an updated and slightly simplified version of my other deck The Ur-Dragon: A bit more defensive for testing new cards (especially Tarkir: Dragonstorm) and cost-cutting options, this has after much playtesting now become my current definite version of The Ur-Dragon. The manabase with a backbone of fetchlands, triomes and basic lands does work well and saves a lot of costs compared to one containing old dual lands. I have also left out Ravnica shock duals because the additional colour option with the triomes comes often in handy, and the enters-BF-tapped handycap can be managed in most cases without "loss" of turn.

I might perhaps work on a real "budget" version of this deck in the future.

Note: Most of the "Maybe" section just serves as a list of additional new card
