When I first started playing Magic a few months ago I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with Teysa Karlov and squeezing every last drop of value out of my cards I could. Fast forward to when I found the wonderful world of commander and one of my first commanders was no contest. This deck started on a budget(around $40) and has slowly progressed as time has gone on. Though, I still have a rule that I will not pay over $20 for a card in the deck. The only card I currently have that is over $20 is a Demonic Tutor which was given to me by a friend.

The main theme of this is death triggers. Killing things to make tokens, get mana, draw cards, drain life and so on and so forth. Then recur those things that have been killed for even more value. Things like Anointed Procession + Cathars' Crusade + Divine Visitation to bolster the tokens and take advantage of the lifelink Teysa gives. This life gain can then be used as a tool with [Aetherflux Reservoir]. All in all this deck has done very well for me and has been a TON of fun to pilot!
