Wyleth, Soul of Steel is the best commander for an equipment theme, mainly because of his draw ability. Equip Wyleth with every sword known to man or any of the other incredible equipment around to make a giant voltron commander that draws cards and hits hard. The main reason I built this deck was to have a place to put all of the Swords.

Wyleth, Soul of Steel is the general of this deck. Dealing commander damage and drawing cards with his ability is the main strategy.

• Shadowspear: So versatile, and the lifelink is nice.
• Dowsing Dagger  : Ramp and adds blockers
• Lightning Greaves: Protection & Haste
• Swiftfoot Boots: Protection & Haste
• Sword of the Animist: Ramp, ramp, and more ramp
• Sword of Body and Mind: Protection, blockers, and mill
• Sword of Feast and Famine: Protection, ramp, and make the opponent discard
• Sword of Fire and Ice: Protection, card draw, and pings

• Thalia, Heretic Cathar: Stax piece that reduces the number of blockers
• Zirda, the Dawnwaker: Cost reduction for equipping creatures
• Armored Skyhunter: Cheating equipments into play
• Halvar, God of Battle  : Cost reduction for equipping creatures, gives double strike, AND can be an equipment itself
• Iroas, God of Victory: Protection and gives evasion
• Silent Arbiter: Stops creatures attacking on the crack back and helps with blockers
• Stonehewer Giant: Tutor and cheats in equipments
• Aurelia, the Warleader: Extra combat for our general
• Sun Titan: All but one of our equipment are 3 CMC or lower, so this is awesome recursion

• Avacyn, Angel of Hope: Indestructible to all our permanents and we can equip her to make a REALLY scary attacker.
