I've been wanting to build a big smashy creature deck for a while now. I was torn when it came to picking a commander and a theme - Mayael is too mainstream, Surrak ended up being Dragon tribal, and Omnath just isn't my style. Eventually, I landed on Gahiji, Honored One, and rather than building him as a token commander, I chose to give him a horde of big, mean, murder machines, augmented with lots of mana ramp. I specifically focused on Beasts, both for flavor and functionality. The deck has performed well in my tests, but I'm always looking for ways to improve it.

Any budget suggestions are welcome!
