Angus Mackenzie Monarch

Big Mac, the King:

Angus Mackenzie is two full beef patties with three buns, and that oh so special secret sauce. He's the Big Mac, the King...and every King needs a throne. So, what better throne than the Monarch throne! This deck is built around getting and keeping Monarch, with cards like Regal Behemoth, Protector of the Crown, Keeper of Keys, Court of Bounty, Court of Grace, Fall from Favor, and Throne of the High City.

Hard to Hit:

I had to include a Turbofog and Pillow Fort sub theme, but I didn't want to make them the complete focus of this deck. With that said, I included cards like Seedborn Muse, Kiora's Follower, and Thousand-Year Elixir to help power up Angus Mac's fog ability. Kami of False Hope and Spore Frog are also in the deck as backup fogs. I included cards like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda to set up a bubble as well. It's important to have a way to protect that valuable Monarch status.

Hard to Remove:

Protecting yourself is all good, but you'll still need to protect your permanents. Cards like Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Dovin's Veto can protect your permanents (or Everything with TP) with no warning. Cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Dawnglade Regent, Glen Elendra Archmage, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, Siren Stormtamer, Asceticism, and Lightning Greaves can protect your permanents with an on-board presence.

Clones?

This deck has some clones, like Clever Impersonator, Glasspool Mimic  , and Phantasmal Image to regain Monarch, by cloning a creature who ETBs for the status. The clones could also be useful in providing a second copy of a valuable permanent.

Lastly, this deck closes out games with cards like Craterhoof Behemoth and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite.
