FOR THE EMPIRE! Just the typical suite of competitively costed Esper spells and fast mana with a commander similar to Thrasios who can easily fill our hand up and combo kill with infinite mana via Isochron Scepter, the Monoliths, or the Altars. The best engine to pair with Marneus is undoubtedly Smothering Tithe as it nets us mana and card advantage since opponents just looooove drawing extra cards in competitive games. If you want to up this deck's power level one more smidge, then you can also run the Thassa's Oracle/Pact/Consultation suite as well.
