Hello and good day:

My name is Julius Jumblemorph, though you may call me Dr. Jumblemorph, head researcher and supervisor of Crossbreeds Laboratories. I am most excited to share with you my findings over these last few weeks. Indeed, my experiments have been accelerating at a rapid pace. What experiments you ask? Silly me, I seem to have gotten ahead of myself. Why, simply, my little collection of "host" and "augment" creatures - as I like to call them - and the curious shapes they make when I and my brilliant team mix them together. I've attached a list of my materials to this letter; please give it a look over if you will. If you look closely, there is a particularly delicious combination (hint: it involves a bushy-tailed rodent and a petite equine). I think you will love what you see, and I cannot wait to show the rest of the scientific community the fruits of my labors.

With best regards,

Dr. Julius Jumblemorph

Journal entry #015:Half-Squirrel, Half- + Ordinary Pony is a smashingly, volatile combination. The solvents, which are normally only mildly "unstable," become erratic and almost out of control. Highly affected substances include Acidic Slime, Palace Jailer, and Angelic Rocket, among others. We've managed to contain the effects thus far, but I did unfortunately lose a Teacher's Pet in an experiment today; he really should have worn his Lightning Greaves. Fortunately, I, in my brilliant ways, have already found a suitable (and quite frankly astonishingly superior) replacement in the form of one Ms. Fauna Shaman. She even brought along her own Birthing Pod. Oh, how I can't wait to install it in the main lab. But I digress; with the discovery of this solution, that is referring to the Half-Squirrel, Half- + Ordinary Pony , we've collected an almost boundless stream of data, especially through the eyes of our Elvish Visionary. It even responds well with other hosts: Eager Beaver, Gnome-Made Engine, Adorable Kitten, and Shaggy Camel haven't exploded once, or yet, I should say. The implications are vast and exciting, and as a scientist, I am giddy with anticipation. I said it once and I will say it again, I cannot wait to show this to the community at large during the next convention.
