I really liked the design of Hogaak when I saw he was spoiled from Modern Horizons, and although he's too strong for modern I think he's perfect for commander, having a lot of really nice perks like being able to be cast from the graveyard to get around commander tax.

This deck is all about getting value with the CMC matters cards like Metamorphosis or Morbid Curiosity and using Hogaak as fodder to either cheat out a bigger threat or draw a bunch of cards. Krosan Drover also helps to cast the bigger creatures and even helps to reduce the emerge cost on the few eldrazi creatures I run in these colors.
