Let's start off by getting everything out in the open, I love Elf decks. Like, truly just love the big eared freaks. When I started playing and collecting Magic cards, 1997, I was just a kid. So naturally, I developed favorite cards based on how cool they were because the concept of the game was not really something I had down yet. Angels, Wurms, and of course... Elves, all became my favorite cards. Since that time, Elves have actually become pretty strong. They incorporate their own tutor spells, life gain, and other mechanics that are fascinating. Something you don't find much of in its totality in other tribal decks except for maybe Vampires. I hate Vampires. Seriously.. anyways, this EDH deck is perfect for an Elf nut. The deck incorporates all of the best elves in the game that I am aware of, and they synergise really well. The Commander is obviously not an Elf, but! There's a reason for that. The deck runs on several mechanics, the primary being control. You can control the board constantly by making your opponent/s sacrifice their creatures while you build an unstoppable wall of big eared woodland dork-wads. While your opponents sacrifice away their favorite toys, you're commander gets pretty big. It's an awesome trade off. If anyone has any input on the deck, I won't be a loser and act like it is perfect (even though it is).
