Steal or destroy your opponents' forces!

Merieke Ri Berit taps to steal a creature and untaps/leaves the battlefield to destoy the stolen creature. She'll be your primary kidnapper, with the goal of stealing creatures and then disposing of the bodies when they are no longer useful or if there's a better target that comes along. Note that untapping destroys the creature while under your control, but if she leaves the battlefield then the creature returns to its owner's control before being destroyed, which may matter if anyone has a card with death triggers, such as Dictate of Erebos, on the battlefiled. She doesn't untap naturally on her own though, so there are lots of tools to untap her. Additionally, there are a couple of tools that flicker creatures and return them under your control: if you bounce a stolen creature back under you control, then it's yours permanently until it dies.

Some other fun things to try:

• - Enchant a stolen creature with Fool's Demise before you destroy it, bringing it right back to you!
• - Exile all of your captives with Synod Sanctum, and then when you are ready you can sac Synod Sanctum and bring all of your victims back to fight for you again! Synod Sanctum is fetchable by Trinket Mage as well.
• - Swing out with all of your indentured servants, then exile your attackers with Settle the Wreckage to remove those creatures from the game and ramp yourself into some extra lands.
• - Sac a couple of captured creatures to Bankrupt in Blood and get some painless card draw while slaying.

  Coffin Queen works in a similar fashion, but she targets cards in graveyards and exiles instead of destroying. Pro tip: If you bounce or otherwise remove Coffin Queen from the battlefield before her ability resolves, then the delayed trigger can't happen and you keep the stolen creature permanently!

  You don't want to have to limit your choices when there's a veritable buffet of targets to choose from, so bring the whole squad! Agent of Treachery, Beguiler of Wills, Empress Galina, & Hostage Taker will help you increase your larceny efficiency! Agent of Treachery & Hostage Taker can steal permanents other than creatures too! Desertion can make a huge swing in the game if you use it on something big!
  
  Is your opponent pumping out creatures faster than you can steal them? Then just start directly slaughtering them! Avatar of Woe & Visara the Dreadful both tap to kill, and you can use all of your untap tools to get a killtacular! You also have plenty of spot removal in case of emergencies. Don't forget to add a bit of panache to your massacre by dropping Thrilling Encore after the mayhem settles.
  
  Hexproof got you down? No worries! Arcane Lighthouse, Detection Tower, or Glaring Spotlight will help you find your marks and subdue them. You can tutor for Glaring Spotlight with Trinket Mage.
  
  The best defense is whatever shuts down your opponents. You've got a host of spot removal and counterspell options to protect your board state and shut down critical threats. Use them wisely!
