Sentinel would be an interesting deterrent...especially against some giant Craterhoof Behemoth-type beastie. “Hit me with that thing and I’ll come right back at you with it over and over!” ;p

And with Find / Finality, it's a sorcery, so they couldn't cast a second one in response to your Sentinel Totem without a different effect that gives their sorceries flash (Hypersonic Dragon, for instance).

I love this deck. it's probably possible to make a fairly budget version, which I love even more :p . With the number of 'anthem' type effects and aggro approach you could probably do with some cheaper creatures regardless - Tasseled Dromedary and the like. There are loads of 1 white mana 0/4s that would make for a very interesting and more consistent turn 3 attack. other nice buffs like Shield Wall would also work well with this. some other plain old walls would also work well with an 'early game' approach if you threw in a little more 'defender' removing stuff. Things like Abzan Beastmaster could help you keep some cards in hand. If you're liking the life gain, Angelic Chorus and maybe even Genju of the Fields could be interesting. Colfenor's Urn seems like it would be worth having. Diamond Valley in an emergency, Proper Burial, maybe with Fruit of the First Tree. If you need tokens, Korozda Guildmage's your gal. Scourge of Skola Vale, Sight of the Scalelords, Sentinel, Sworn Defender, Traproot Kami, and Tree of Redemption could also be fun :)

Interested in people's experience/wisdom. I'm trying to work on the creature mix in my Adamaro deck. The aim of the deck is to durdle and play group hug draw and balance that with cards that slow our opponents' ability to take advantage such as War's Toll. We try not to make ourselves conspicuous and then launch a big threat late on (Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Blightsteel Colossus, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth) or bleed our opponents out using Repercussion\Vicious Shadows and small ping damage.

Cards like Meekstone feel like they draw a lot of immediate hate and attention. Ditto Winter Orb and Torpor Orb and other cards that shut things down. Silent Arbiter and Smoke also feel like they may draw some hate.

Teferi's Puzzle Box has worked well because it disrupts strategies but doesn't cut access to cards.

At the minute I'm using Adamaro, First to Desire itself as a cheap cmc chump blocker that tends to fluctuate between being a 4/4 and a 7/7. Early game we use cards like Soldevi Sentry because it boosts Adamaro and is a regenerating shield to subtly discourage people, which seems to work.

I've just recently swapped in Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs as a ghostly prison effect. I'm also trying Masticore, again for the regeneration, it's inbuilt Pyrohemia and the fact we don't care too much about discard.

Other blockers I looked at include Jhoira's Toolbox and Living Wall as other regenerating blockers, and alternatively Sentinel as something that scales with the threat.

Mogg Maniac offers something a bit different.

I'd cut one Forest and play Elspeth, Sun's Champion for the wipe ability. Maybe Gravity Well? It doesn't specifically interact with Sidar or anything else but your big but vigilance dudes can always block their flyers and knock them out of the sky. I'd cut Sentinel, I don't think it does enough. I've mentioned it before, but Wall of Reverence. Needs Living Death and probably Karador so you have some way of recovering from boardwipes. As it is it looks like you're mostly fucked from your dudes dying. Rest in Peace is sort of not what you want to be doing in Junk, play Leyline of the Void instead since you can and it's asymmetrical. Then add in Animate Dead and Necromancy for some more recursion. Needs sac outlets, Faith Healer and Perilous Forays would be solid. Ensouled Scimitar is cute but I think it's gonna be more feel bad honestly. You're relying on getting Doran out every game but you're using the partners as your actual generals right? Since you are playing a deck that needs to attack to achieve Endgame success, you really need to capitalize on combat damage en masse more than a specific dude getting 5 more damage in. I'd add True Conviction instead and maybe Conclave's Blessing for some really big hits. Since you're doing combat damage and enchantress, Nature's Will is essentially extra turns. We've also discussed Archangel of Strife; I think it would be good to still have a flyer with this effect and she combos with Vhati il-Dal if you're going to Fell the Mighty or an equivalent effect. Been thinking about a few other cards with Horibo synergy. Mainly colourless cards that target creatures:

Lands

Shizo, Death's Storehouse. Produces mana symbol b. With Horibo, mana symbol bmana symbol tto kill target commander.

Urborg. Produces mana symbol b. With Horibo mana symbol tto kill.

Cabal Pit. Lifeloss, but an additional removal spell with Horobi at Threshold.

Maze of Ith\Mystifying Maze, go from defensive to tappable kills.

Tower of the Magistrate. Useful protection into a kill.

Artifacts

Echo Chamber. Copy their creature and kill it at the same time. Opponent chooses the creature.

Helm of Chatzuk. With Horibo mana symbol 1mana symbol t to kill target creature. No real utility without.

Baton of Morale\Sacred Armory. With Horobi mana symbol 2 to kill target creature. No real utility without.

Thran Forge. Higher cost, better utility.

Power Matrix. Without Horobi powers up one of our or opponents creatures. With Horobi becomes a mana symbol t Murder.

Soldevi Golem. mana symbol 4 5/3 that kills a creature when it untaps

Serrated Arrows. mana symbol 4 for 3 x murders.

Sentinel. Kills pretty much anything it can block with Horobi out.

Crenellated Wall. Blocker. mana symbol t to kill a creature with Horobi.

Contagion Engine. Potential wrath and Planeswalker boost.

Clockwork Hydra. 4/4 for mana symbol 5. With Horobi takes a creature with it when it attacks or blocks.

Belbe's Armor. With Horobi, mana symbol 0mana symbol t kill. Without, boost a creature on defense.

Barl's Cage. mana symbol 4cmc cost, but a useful effect in Horobi's absence.

Grim Poppet. mana symbol 7cmc for 3 x Murder at instant speed and a potential 4/4 blocker.

Erratic Portal. Tappable Murder with the ability to bounce our own creatures back to recur ETB effects.
