Ikoria and C20 gave Skullbriar some new goodies, most notably Daring Fiendbonder, Slippery Bogbonder, and The Ozolith, allowing the potential for permanent hexproof and indestructibility on Skullbriar, with The Ozolith providing an incredible threat with just one mana. Other cards like Call of the Death-Dweller and Unexpected Fangs allow Skullbriar to accumulate a keyword soup easier than with things like Rancor. Overall the otherwise already good Skullbriar just got better, and is sure to strike fear into the hearts of many playgroups.
