Use a suite of cards that 'Proliferate' to build up an engine of artifacts that care about charge counters, or +1/+1 counters, or both.

No combos here, just straight incremental value.

The deck runs 2 cards with infect. Personally I will try to get a poison counter on a player if they are running a heavy life-gain component. It's usually a threat that never materializes as an actual player elimination.
