So this was a fun (and very stupid) experiment I did. For some reason, even though I don't particularly care for Hatsune Miku, I bought the original Miku lair that came out Spring 2024, thinking it was a cute novelty. I learned afterward that there were going to be 3 more Miku lairs coming after this one, so knee-deep in sunk cost fallacy mode I got the other three as well. This left me with a bit of a problem however: What the heck am I going to do with these? So after a bit of thought (and more poor financial decisions) I stitched this together: a deck entirely focused on music! Is it competitive? Gosh no, precons will outrun it without breaking a sweat. Is it funny? Absolutely, let's check it out.

First off, we have every Hatsune Miku card released in a Secret Lair. Unfortunately the synergy between the cards included in the lairs, like Youthful Valkyrie and Song of Creation, is completely nonexistent, but for the sake of theming we have to include all of them. Next we go for the mana base, which also doesn't have much to say flavor-wise. Arcane Signet and Chromatic Lantern help as mana rocks, and the lands are mostly just shocks and triomes. I was able to include Echoing Deeps as a music pun and a single snow basic for Scrying Sheets, but that's about it. Fortunately after that, we can get into the gooooood stuff :3

Hatsune Miku needs a lot of things to make her music come to life, starting with different songs to sing. We have Song of Freyalise, Angelsong, Song of the Dryads, Song of Inspiration, and more, including a Thrilling Encore. Next she'll need instruments to compliment her vocal performance, so we have Disruptor Flute, The Sound of Drums, and Citanul Flute, along with an entire City of Brass. Once we have our instruments, we'll need other people to help in the show before we can start the show. We'll need Firbolg Flutist, Drumhunter, and another Musician to help with the instrumentals, and Toluz, Clever Conductor, Zaffai, Thunder Conductor and Composer of Spring to help direct them. Then we need a chorus of backup singers, like Narci, Fable Singer, Zephyr Singer, Threnody Singer, Singer of Swift Rivers, Yisan, the Wanderer Bard, Siren of the Silent Song, and many more.

After all that, we're almost ready to Light Up the Stage. We just need Gylwain, Casting Director to help us get the right role/costume we'll need, Ayesha Tanaka to help us rally the band, and Bard Class to help us get into character. And if there's any haters in the crowd, we can show them the error of their ways with the horror of Deafening Silence, as life without Miku's music is just a dull Silence.

Sooooo that's pretty much it! There are enough music themes/puns in this to hopefully satisfy, but if anyone can think of something I missed lemme know about it and I'll see if I can add it. There's a couple cards I can probably do without, like Cleansing Nova (get it, because clean-sing? I'll see myself out...) or Singing Bell Strike, so I'm open to suggestions. With that said, I hope you enjoy this absolute trainwreck of a meme deck :D
