This is a combo centric Golgari Aristocrats themed deck headed by the lovely Dina, Soul Steeper.

Name of the game is drain and gain.

Your main wincon is gonna be Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog. You can definitely go for Exquisite Blood since you have Dina as your commander, but mana wise, Apprentice and Smog is the most efficient.

Apprentice drains the opponents' life while you gain life whenever you cast/copy an instant or sorcery spell. To take advantage of this, you'd cast Smog targeting yourself. The cast will trigger Apprentice once.

After you discard, you may copy Smog and choose another target for it. When you copy it, Apprentice will trigger again. Continue to target yourself repeatedly and you will straight up win the game.

If you start the game with both cards in hand along with two lands that collectively produce Golgari, you can win on turn three.

You can win on turn two with this combo, but you MUST have the following to do so: * Forest/Green producing land that does NOT ETB tapped.

  • Swamp/Black producing land that does NOT ETB tapped.

  • Witherbloom Apprentice

  • Chain of Smog

  • Dark Ritual

  • Vampiric Tutor (You only need this if you are missing one of the aforementioned cards)

* Worldly Tutor (You only need this if you are JUST missing Witherbloom Apprentice)

In order to win on turn two, you must play the previously mentioned cards in the following order:

  • Turn 1: Play Swamp. Cast Vampiric Tutor on last opponent's end step. Search for the missing combo piece. (You may use a Worldly Tutor if you are only missing Witherbloom Apprentice)
  • Turn 2: Play Forest. Cast Dark Ritual. Use BG to cast Witherbloom Apprentice. Use remaining BB to cast Chain of Smog. Repeatedly target yourself with it, triggering Witherbloom Apprentice each time you copy it.

The Exquisite Blood win con is a classic. Dina, Soul Steeper, your commander, combos with this to drain everyone infinitely. Other pieces in this deck that combo with Exquisite Blood are Vito, Thorn of Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Sanguine Bond.

That's four different ways to set off the same combo. Keep in mind that it all revolves around Exquisite Blood sticking around. So make sure you can win fast or protect it!

There are multiple ways to win with Chain of Smog.

Chain of Smog w/ Witherbloom Apprentice was explained previously in the Turn 2 combo.

Smog can also combo with Sedgemoor Witch to create an infinite amount of BG Pest creature tokens. These tokens will triggers cards such as Essence Warden, Prosperous Innkeeper, and Ayara, First of Locthwain.

You can win with this if you have Sedgemoor and Ayara out. Ayara kills everyone by herself with no additional cards needed outside the chain and Sedgemoor. If you are using the Warden or Inkeeper, you need Sanguine Bond, Marauding Blight Priest, Vito, or Dina out to win. Otherwise it's just infinite life/tokens. Still good, but doesn't win on the spot.

That right there is 5+ variations on how to win with Sedgemoor and Smog.

Chain of Acid combos the exact same way as Chain of Smog except that you need to also have Darksteel Relic or Darksteel Citadel for Acid to target. This adds even more ways to combo off with it than Chain of Smog. The downside is that there are more pieces needed and it costs more mana. The upside to it is that both Relic and Citadel are quite hard to remove, seeing as how they're both indestructible.

Lurking Roper typically doesn't untap. However, if you throw a Presence of Gond on it while an Innkeeper or Warden is out, you can create infinite tokens due to the tokens triggering either of them, which will cause Roper to untap. Please note that you must have Dina, Vito, Marauding Blight Priest, or Sanguine Bond out to win right off the bat. You can also save it for your last opponent's end step to create infinite tokens/life and full swing with them if you don't have any of those out.
