V 1.1 now has switched from straight non-basic lands to utilizing wastes. Any tips for land would be appreciated.
Why not just throw all the eldrazi in? Well that's the general idea, practical or no.
Commander Kozilek, the Great Distortion is big and has menace. More important is his counter ability, once he hits the board your opponent can just give up on dropping any 6 or 7 cost bombs. Even if he is countered you still get a full hand for the attempt. And he specifically requires colorless mana so why not for flavor?
Creatures The whole point is this an eldrazi only deck so don't expect useful things like Palladium Myr or Solemn Simulacrum. I have them divided by cost.
Little Boys is a bit of an overstatement as it involves 3-6 casters. Most important is Conduit of Ruin as he will be reducing the cost of other creatures. Kozilek's Channeler and Warden of Geometries can tap for mana, Matter Reshaper is card advantage, Thought-Knot lets you do a little discarding and Oblivion Sower is probably the best 6 cost and can be very useful if you get the retrigger going.
Bread Boys are your bread and butter 7-9 casters that will give some firepower (and the attention of your foes). Void Winnower can shut down an unlucky opponent, Deceiver of form can turn your smaller creatures into a 1HKO, Breaker of Armies can open the path in a token heavy opponent and we also start seeing the annihilator effect show up.
Big Boys are the finale, which can actually happen pretty early (I've pulled Desolation Twin and Ceaseless Hunger turn 3). If you have Cloudstone Curio or Strionic Resonator out by the time these guys see the board its gonna hurt. Retriggering Annilator 4 or either Ulamog's cast effects allows you to tear up the opponents side of the field very fast.
Instants Not Of This World is great anti-removal for your big boys while Spatial Contortion, Titan's Presence, and Warping Wail offer some light removal/counter. Scour from existence sucks but it fits the theme.
Sorcery Gruesome Slaughter turns your Bread Boys into one turn removal engine and Skittering Invasion provides bodies for mana (or a risky Deceiver of Form maneuver.) All Is Dust is your catered to colorless board wipe, save it so it can save your ass if things aren't looking good.
Enchantment Only one, Eldrazi Conscription, not a bad buff at all if you reduce the cost (its tribal).
Land and Artifacts I'm putting these two together because the lands do more than mana and the artifacts are mostly for mana. But I also break them down into groups. There are many useful colorless lands that have extra effects while still coming in untapped. Wastes are nice to have with Extraplanar Lens.
Multi-Lands give you multiple colorless under some condition. Scorched Ruins is a bit of a target for land destruction works great with vesuva and thespians stage for getting insane mana very fast.
Artifact Mana Artifacts that are about getting you mana. Later in the game when creatures become very cheap you can start relying on these for mana and utilize your land effects that involve sacrifice. Expedition map should be used for Eye of Ugin or if you have that Maze of Ith or Rouge's Passage. Doubling Cube is useful for obvious reasons.
Cost Reduction Having the mana to hard cast is great, but dropping eldrazi for one or nothing is better. If you got Conduit of Ruin, Eye of Ugin, Semblance Anvil, and Urza's Incubator going that's eldrazi costing 8 less. Of course just dropping anything for a 3 or 4 works too (so long as they don't have a "when cast" effect).
Land Destruction This is an eldrazi deck right? Then you should be destroying land whenever you can. We got 6 straight destroy lands. You may argue that the high cost of eldrazi would be problem but if you have your artifacts set up they should be able to fill the cost for creatures while you reduce your opponents options by destroying land. It's much more satisfying to destroy all your opponents extra lands with your own before swinging an annihilator giving them a hard choice to make.
Recovery These are cards to help you deal with renewal. Crucible of Worlds is the most useful as it lets replay the lands you sacrifice for land destruction/utility effects. Homeward path keeps your eldrazi on your side of the board.
Retrigger Now take what just did with Maze of Ith and Annihiator and double it. That's what Strionic Resonator is for. Or maybe Ceaseless Hunger exiles four targets when cast or 40 when swinging. Cloudstone Curio lets you pull off those cast effects over and over again with enough cost reduction. You can mill an opponent out if alternatively drop Obivion Sower with another creature you've made free with cost reduction.
Utility Lands These are mostly just for mana, but hey why not have some effects to cover different situations so long as they aren't coming in tapped?
Draw Being able to plan for what you can drop in the next turn is very useful.
Planeswalkers Karn and Ugin are mostly for removal. Karn gets spot removal and Ugin is a nice boardwipe.
Sideboard Emrakul is banned but if the people you playing don't care, have at her.
