Ulamog's Despoiler

Creature — Eldrazi Processor

As Ulamog's Despoiler enters the battlefield, you may put two cards your opponents own from exile into their owners' graveyards. If you do, Ulamog's Despoiler enters the battlefield with four +1/+1 counters on it.

Something of note Grinning Totem, Sadistic Sacrament, and Jester's Cap exile from their library which does not give Tariel, Reckoner of Souls any targets. These got me thinking though and I went and looked at the eldrazi processors. This idea is really janky but you are getting your opponents best creatures if you do this.

Blight Herder, Mind Raker, Ruin Processor, Ulamog's Despoiler, and Wasteland Strangler all work for this plan. I want to emphasize that this is taking jank level to over 9000 but it would allow Grinning Totem, Sadistic Sacrament, and Jester's Cap to give Tariel, Reckoner of Souls some targets.

Lands

Lose Blighted Cataract Evolving Wilds Skyline Cascade. Add Cloudpost and Glimmerpost. Consider adding Simic Growth Chamber to bounce Glimmerpost

Spells

Dump Spell Shrivel and Hedron Archive. They distract from what the deck wants to do. Replace Call the Scions with Awakening Zone and From Beyond to give you constant, passive token generation. Beastmaster Ascension to give all those tokens some teeth! Fecundity turns each sacrificed token into a draw. Growth Spasm will let you fetch lands and give you more tokens. I see a theme....

Eldrazi Utility Creatures

Keep Blisterpod and Tide Drifter. Dump the other drones. Add the hyper-efficient Nest Invader. Add Blight Herder, Ulamog's Despoiler, and Void Attendant. Consider Vile Redeemer depending on the boardwipe prevalence in your meta game.

Eldrazi Heavies

An army of tokens makes Hand of Emrakul a no-brainer. Definitely have two of Bane of Bala Ged in the main board.

Most of the recommendations are under $1.00 with 95% being less than $.50. That being said, all token decks need to run Cryptolith Rite. Tapping tokens for a mana of any color speeds the deck into overdrive!

Magic & dogfighting share a common principle: When heading to the merge, speed is life.

Alright, okay. Sit down, buckle in because as someone who loves Eldrazi there's a few suggestions that you may just love for this deck.

If this deck is based around exiling your opponent's stuff (be it library or on the field), then mana ramping into big eldrazi to finish off the game, you're gonna want a rather focused deck. Things like Drownyard Behemoth aren't great because, in order for you to reduce it's cost to something practical, you either need to sacrifice your big finishers OR one or two mana dorks. Neither of these are great. Instead there's a very interesting finisher in Ulamog's Despoiler. It costs less mana for a larger creature that will beat your opponents down faster.

The other problem with the current concept is your average converted mana cost for your stuff. Right now it's 5.70. To put that in perspective, on average to cast something in your deck you're going to need 6 mana. Even if you have a few mana dorks on the field, you won't have a noteworthy field presence until at least turn 4. What you're gonna want to do is add lower cost creatures and remove some higher cost ones that don't really impact the game immediately. I'll break down specifics below:

Blisterpod: Great early blocker that turns into mana. 10/10 would include in ramp.

Eldrazi Skyspawner: Same as above, except you get the mana right away AND you get a flier.

Fathom Feeder: Holy crap is this guy value. A 1/1 deathtoucher that ingests. Your opponents are damned if they block, damned if they don't. Not to mention he's late game card draw with ingest. Absolute favorite low-cost eldrazi right there.

Sludge Crawler: A cheap ingester that is pumpable late game. Easy include

Wasteland Strangler: Stat-wise this guy kinda sucks, but if you ingested a card earlier in the game, he turns into a 3/2 for 3 mana that is also a potential kill-spell on a stick. Brain blast.

Oblivion Sower: This guy is no joke. He's a mid-cost eldrazi that will not only exile your opponent's top few cards, he will also potentially ramp into more mana that will help you cast even more big things.

Finally there's a few non-creatures I want to talk about. You have From Beyond for constant mana-ramp, as well as tutoring for an Eldrazi card. A good 1- or 2-of in the deck. For more control cards, you have Transgress the Mind for hand-hate and Titan's Presence for easy removal if you have a large eldrazi in your hand. Remember that anything with Devoid is considered colorless, so you could reveal a Dread Defiler and it would still be fine.

Hope this helped, and I'm sorry if I came off as angry or rude. I really love the deck concept :)

So, unplayable commander deck aside, there really isn't a reason for you to run 56 lands. For your average CMC of what is in your main board, you may want to cut down to about 42 lands as you already have some mana rocks already. I would definitely run Conduit of Ruin over Ulamog's Despoiler, while also throwing in Artisan of Kozilek and Blightsteel Colossus. If you want to stick with blue, you may want some valuable counter spells like Void Shatter, Horribly Awry, Spell Shrivel, and Spelljack.

Hey, do you think I could replace Blight Herder or Ulamog's Despoiler with Endless One?

OmNom69 Hello, its very good question and its kinda hard to answer. The Ob Nixilis Reignited is definitely useful u can draw a card plus another destroy is really good sometimes but if u get emblem its kinda bad unless u re going to use another draw like card Sire of Stagnation which u can replace for Ulamog's Despoiler but u dont have to replace it he will lose 2 LIFE every turn anyway its just speeding up process

Long story made short I have happened to land some big Eldrazi Creatures for really cheap but I am very new to MTG and have been only playing about 1 month now. I have some serious hard hitters but I am not sure how to get them out there in time. I recently tried to make my own ramp deck and got destroyed so I am lost and I really do not know what to do. I would not like to spend to much maybe 50 max but I need help in making the following cards into a workable deck. I need to know what creatures to add and what instants, enchantments etc. Once Again I'm new at this. So if I seem really nooby I am so apologies. I have the following big Creatures

2xEmurakul,The Promised End 2xUlamog, the Ceaseless Hunger 3xBane of Bala Ged3xRuin Processor2xDesolation Twin1xBreaker of Armies2xUlamog's Despoiler1xEldrazi Devastator
