With tokens and deathtouch, you basically got removal in the command zone. Don't forget to give your creatures deathtouch first before firing off with Halana. Quite a bit of creature protection is worked into the actual creature base, with creatures like Stonecloaker and Restoration Angel. Some of the control aspects are worked into it as well, so the control and the protection act as alternatives, based on how you want to deal with the situation at hand.

Bow of Nylea would be a great addition. Having more stuff to make creatures come in tapped (or with vigilance) and attacking without having to pay mana is also cool. So far, I have Parhelion II, Nacatl War-Pride, and Basri Ket. Even better, Brimaz, King of Oreskos would be pretty good for the deck.
