Key ideas:

• Tagline: X spells: hydras and burn!
• Rosheen Meanderer give us four colorless mana for X-containing costs. So we have a whole lot of X spells and X activated abilities to take advantage of that.
• Unbound Flourishing is our superstar - it doubles X for any permanent (Hydras, Stonecoil Serpent, Walking Ballista/Hangarback Walker), and it copies spells and abilities with X in the cost (Flameblast Dragon, Hydra Broodmaster, Jaya's Immolating Inferno)
• Elementalist's Palette is great synergy for all of our X-cost spells!
• Doubling Season and Branching Evolution will make our creatures that ETB with +1/+1 counters twice as big! Doubling Season will also double the number of tokens we generate.
• We have a number of ways to do direct damage. When big Hydras come in, Warstorm Surge will allow us to hit players, creatures or even planeswalkers. Fling and Chandra's Ignition do big damage if we have big creatures. Burn spells and abilities too: Crackle with Power, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, Flameblast Dragon, etc.
• We have a 'power matters' subtheme - we can make lots of mana (Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient), we'll draw lots of cards (Greater Good, Hunte' Insight, Garruk's Uprising, etc.), we're able to do lots of damage (Mage Slayer, Fling, Chandra's Ignition, Warstorm Surge), and even gain life (Momentous Fall).
• Kalonian Hydra is extreme synergy with all of our creatures that ETB with +1/+1 counters. On attack, it doubles all of their power!
• Gargos, Vicious Watcher is a powerful Hydra that will make all of our other hydras four cheaper. And it defends our creatures, fighting opponents' creatures when ours are targeted. Sadly, this is not an optional ability, so it might do damage to the point of killing itself.
• Vexing Shusher can help us get big spells through, making them uncounterable.
• If one of our creatures with +1/+1 counters dies or is even exiled, The Ozolith will keep those counters around to be put on another creature at our next combat!
• A small evasion subtheme to help with our Hydra army - not all of them have trample, and just about none have haste: Rhythm of the Wild, Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves, and Xenagos, God of Revels for haste, and Kessig Wolf Run, Skarrg, the Rage Pits, Garruk's Uprising, and Rhonas's Monument to give them trample.
