Battle Truck Full of Dudes with Asses

Commander / EDH* Control RGW (Naya) Toughness Matters

DaWubber

"I'm driving in the ass!" Ultra Magnus, probably.

Having already built an Ultra Magnus, Tactician   deck more focused on using the frontside to cheat big Triplicate Titans into play, I discovered something. The deck absolutely loves destroy based board wipes, as they interact very well with the backside of Ultra Magnus, Armored Carrier   giving my attacking creatures indestructible. I decided to build this deck based around the idea of maximizing the use of this backside.

The Core Concept:

The deck is focused on using primarily big booty creatures with very low power like Imdominable Ancients to attack with big booty creatures that Ultra Magnus makes indestructible but with total power of less than 8 to avoid flipping Ultra Magnus to it's normally excellent front side. To make use of these big butts that we definitely love, we use all of the "deal combat damage equal to toughness" effects we can get our hands on, with numerous tutors to get our hands on either the creature, enchantment, or Planeswalker versions of this effect. By far, the best versions of this are Assault Formation, which makes our walls attackers, and Baldin, Century Herdmaster, which doubles as a toughness based anthem.

Removal:

The best way to take use of this constant indestructible is to pressure our opponents with an oversupply of board wipes, which we run nearly a dozen of. Give one player the booty in combat, then blow up the rest of our opponents' board with a 1 or 2 Mana Blasphemous Act or Vanquish the Horde. Better yet, play your wipe after attacks but before blocks for free damage with Rout and Fated Retribution. Your opponents down, make sure they never can crawl back up with a Jokulhaups or a Worldslayer, taking all their precious lands with their creatures

Other Wincons and Backup Plans:

With Naya, we have a surprising number of synergies with big booty cards to really help us out. Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa means most of our creatures can't be blocked, if we're not able to get a board wipe off. Stoneskin is the ultimate answer for commander damage when we're leveling the biggest back end we can. If we do find ourself unfortunate enough to flip out Ultra Magnus, grab a Mycosynth Lattice to turn all of our creatures into cheat-able in artifact creatures and tell our opponents to "bite our shiny metal asses".

Card Draw:

This is by far the strangest section of the deck, as we can't make use of the typical "draw cards equal to the greatest power" effects that green absolutely loves. Instead, we're going to be using the more incremental card draw given to use by Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Ohran Frostfang, Beast Whisperer, and Guardian Project. Shoutouts to the very unique Abzan Beastmaster, which feeds into our toughness matters theme.

Wrap Up:

This deck is a heavy work in progress (as I haven't gotten to play with it yet), but I'm kinda excited to see if this idea has merit. Feel free to leave any suggestions or comments, and thanks for reading.
