Gandalf the Grey EDH

Wins reliably, and when it doesn't it frequently kills at least one person. Turnabout + Reiterate is an infinite combo, but its a win that feels bad.

You can generate an obscene amount of mana by copying Mana Geyser, Turnabout, and/or Brass's Bounty, and then kill everyone with Comet Storm, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, or Crackle with Power. Thousand-Year Storm, Swarm Intelligence, and Storm King's Thunder can copy your X-spells for massive damage or card draw.

Plan B is to deck your opponent out with Pull from Tomorrow, Blue Sun's Zenith, or Stroke of Genius, and they also help you refuel when you run out of gas. Mindswipe exists as a Plan C win condition that most won't see coming, provided you've got a lot of mana and your opponent tries to cast a spell.

Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Gandalf generate a ton of damage. If you have Veyran, Harmonic Prodigy, and Guttersnipe out when you cast an instant/sorcery, Guttersnipe will trigger a total of 4 times (the OG trigger + Veyran's trigger + Harmonic Prodigy's trigger + Prodigy causing Veyran's ability to trigger again). That is 8 damage for each instant/sorcery spell you cast. Copies will NOT trigger either Fiery Inscription or Guttersnipe. Keep in mind that Veyran and Harmonic Prodigy will force you to choose a different mode on Gandalf - they do not copy his triggered ability.

The damage from Gandalf and Guttersnipe/Fiery Inscription doesn't seem like a lot, but in a multiplayer game player life totals sink quickly due to multiple combat steps. Just make sure you aren't the one getting hit.

Token decks are a difficult matchup; Washout, Blasphemous Act, Cyclonic Rift, and Glacial Chasm as our only real outs. Mill decks are also a tough matchup as there is no spell recursion package in this deck.
