Just recently got Mangara of Corondor, and I LOVE 2 things about him...

1. His mana cost...
2. It doesn't say "non-land"

So I built a deck around abusing his ability as much as possible, & trying to constantly leave the field empty, at least of creatures. (Note all the Board Wipes and Sudo-Wipes)

Note his rulings:

• If Mangara of Corondor leaves the battlefield before the ability resolves, the targeted permanent will still be exiled.
• If the target permanent becomes an illegal target, the ability won’t resolve and Mangara will remain on the battlefield.

So basically even if you sacrifice your own permanent or I flicker/bounce/sacrifice him in response to his ability, he's good...
