Raff's back! After taking my previous deck to the finals of the GP Richmond Brawl Championship, I'm back in the lab for rotation changes.

Here is the world's greatest Raff deck from the previous season, for reference. ;-)

I really feel the core of the deck is not radically changed. I honestly think the biggest loss is the unsung Cataclysmic Gearhulk. It, along with Urza's Ruinous Blast, I felt was the biggest payoff to Raff's ability. I ended up trading it in for Settle the Wreckage. The mana also gets a little worse, and we have to wait a few months for duals.

There are some nice new goodies to compensate though! The new counterspell is better than Disallow. Mission Briefing will be a solid replacement for Torrential Gearhulk.

Overall, the deck seems a little weaker on paper, but that's going to be true for most commanders with way less legal cards.
