Round 1: 2-0 vs. Radha LD. I was too fast for this deck, and wasn't hurt by the land destruction. Mirran crusader with a sword did the work.

Round 2: 2-0 vs. Jenara. Too fast, and having the right removal was key.

Round 3: 0-2 vs. Doran. After a miscounting during the first round of edits, I regretfully took my deck down to 34 lands... way too low. I wasn't able to hit my curve consistently, and Doran's effect is really good against my weenies.

Round 4: 0-2 vs. Titania elf ball. He had blockers for days, and ramped into primetime by turn 4 both games. It was a beating.

Round 5: 2-0 vs. Tasigur. Second round of edits, and went back up to 36 lands. I was able to cast a sword of feast and famine game 2, and that put the final nail in the coffin.

Round 6: 2-0 vs. Kaalia. Was able to land a Nevermore both games, and he was unable to find removal.

Round 7: 0-2 vs. Marath. I got greedy both games and kept horrible 1 land hands, and made a few misplays. I couldn't come back from behind, and lost both games.

Round 8, final round: 2-0 vs. Mishra. His deck wanted to essentially storm out with artifacts. Being able to play Spirit of the Labyrinth in both games kept him from drawing into answers, and Gideon was able to get the job done.

Ended up with a 5-3 record, and with some very good tie-breakers I was able to place 4th out of 20 people. I am very happy with the performance of this deck.
