Karametra and Her Volptuous Bouncing 'Creatures'

Commander / EDH* Casual GW (Selesnya) Midrange Ramp Tokens

MisthollowGriffin

Preface-

Bouncing. Big Bouncing...... Creatures..... Not an obvious reference to Karametra's breasts. Geez. Anyway, its about bouncing stuff for fun effects. my personal favorite is Bouncing effect + Arbiter of Knollridge. Its fairly consistant, especially cause casting the creatures again allows me to pull land via Karametra, which thins out the ol' library. I'm gonna be honest, Karametra ain't the best god, and she certainly isn't the best G/W commander. But my name ain't Metagame Spike, it's Misthollow {mother-f-ing} Griffin so's I don't care much. It's got synergy, it doesn't cost a whole lot for the whole deck, and most of all it's casual. I say this cause a lot of the time, I know I find it hard to remember that Magic is just a game. I play it cause it's fun, and that's what Karametra does. Anyway, I don't suppose you, reader, came here looking for a lecture, so we go onto the goodies:

The Strategy-

Bouncing stuff, duh. I assume you've read and retained at least that much. But the specifics are as follows:

Armada Wurm- the end game is tokens, and so shall it be. Some creatures like this here wurm directly produce tokens when they hit the field. Myr Battlesphere is another decent example. "But MisthollowGriffin," you might ask, "if it's not meant to stay on the field, doesn't sound like your just paying a lot for some token effects? Like in the case of Armada Wurm aren't you really just paying 6 for a 5/5 trample wurm token? That doesn't sound good." Very observant. The bouncing, which it might be said is optional if not recommended, acts as a sort of buyback cost. In this way, I can produce a steady stream if tokens.

Acidic Slime- it occurs to me in writing this that I haven't actually checked the ratio of utility creatures to token producing ones. I bet it's not great. Utility creatures are, at least for me, ones that serve some other bouncing for tokens. Acidic Slime is a Green EDH staple, so for the (over costed, but you will recall the buyback effect) price of 5 mana, I blow something up. An other favorite of mine is Angel of Serenity who can effectively recur creatures to my hand or bounce those enemies control.

Rampaging Baloths- yes, there's landfall. Why wouldn't there be? Karametra grabs land, which incidentally adds another effect to the spells (hereafter referred to as rampant growth effect), and yes I do know that the rampant growth trigger happens before the creature hits the field.

As of late, I'm considering putting in Gavony Township in favor of Selesnya Guildgate, mostly for what tokens I'll get. But what else would you use it for?
