Maybeboard

-placeholder description-

Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker + Reyhan, Last of the Abzan These two are my commanders. Ishai is the main vanguard of my deck. They have a bit of evasion from flying, and due to the size of my pod, they power themselves up very quickly. And thus a lot of this deck revolves around keeping him on the board as long as possible. Reyhan is a good backup commander if Ishai were to fall due to his ability.

Mana Ramp: Examples include: Trinket Mage + Pyramid of the Pantheon Naturally gives a boost to my mana to act more quickly, and gives me something to work off of when\if I get one of my finishers on the board.

Drawing: Combined with mana ramp, more option is better, so I have Explorer's Scope, Infiltration Lens, and Mask of Riddles

Evasion: Since this is a voltron deck, having as much of my commander damage leak through is important. Plus my opponents having a life total of 21 is nice. Basically all of the cards that add double strike, trample, unblockable, and Inquisitor's Flail.

Protection: Since it's really important for my commander to stay on the field as long as possible, things that prevent targeting Swiftfoot Boots and things that grant indestructible (Not in my budget to get darksteel plate) like Indestructibility and things that can be used in a pinch like Survive the Night and Haze of Pollen.

Control and Disruption: The gold standard Counterspell and the versatile Simic Charm standout among others. Creatures with great utility like New Prahv Guildmage, Fan Bearer and Mistmeadow Witch are there to disrupt my opponents potential blockers/troublesome creatures. Once my commander(s) have been established, mana/board disruption like Ritual of Subdual and Divine Reckoning are dropped as a finisher to weaken the board and let my commander(s) go to town with little in the way of repercussions.

Others: Blade of Selves + Reyhan, Last of the Abzan is a very nasty combo, given our five to six man pods, Rey can get a whopping +12/+12 to +16/+16 in a single attack.

The infect stuff is mostly for trolling, but due to Tainted Strike being an instant, there is a justification for that particular one since it can be used on any creature that's doing 9 or more damage to a player to surprise 1-hit KO someone out of the game.
