So There's This League Right...

This Mono- is something that I have been putting together for this local EDH league. Its a competitive league but its actually pretty low-key, no loops, and adherence to the "banned list". Other than that, its pretty much EDH as normal. We usually have 3-4 pods of 4 players, winners from each pod play in the final round.

Voltron was actually one of the first competitive decks that I constructed and won my first FNM with, so naturally it holds a special place in my heart. But since then, there Have been a myriad of cards that make this specific build a lot of fun to play. I chose Nahiri, the Lithomancer as my commander because I love the idea of having a planeswalker as a commander, not to mention none of her abilities are wasted in this deck. The first is great to play right after a boardwipe, that way your commander stays protected. The second and ult make sure that this deck is in no short supply of equipments. The supporting spells in this deck give it a bit of a control feel with Norn's Annex, Leyline of Sanctity and others.
