There is only one thing Gishath and his friends want - to come and steal your cakes ... and of course your life points. The entire goal of this deck is to hit with lots of dinos and if not, with some removal spells, also be a serious nuisance to your opponents' game plan. Yes, I built this dino deck when Ixalan first came out and now thanks to the new Lost Caverns of Ixalan set and even the Dr. Who set - I really did not expect to write that - this deck has gotten a major upgrade! Obviously every dinosaur associated with Kinjalli and Sun's Avatar has been added. Gishath's firstborn Itzquinth has been added because how can someone have Gishath as Commander and not put in his kid who tells his papa to attack? I doubted whether or not to put Pantlaza into the deck, and I no longer regret it. She really does work! Decimate deals with some rather pesky problems 9 out of 10 times. Tectonic Instability makes people consider their game plan as well as give a nod to the tectonic instable times of the dinosaurs.

As a last resort ... Star of Extinction will be played and hopefully everyone's fates will be changed as well as those of the dinosaurs.
