This is my first shot at upgrading the Mardu Surge precon from Tarkir Dragonstrom (original decklist here). I want to keep the deck solidly in Bracket 2, but with more card advantage and interaction, a smoother manabase, and more efficient Token generation.

I obviously need to cut some cards from the current decklist; thank you in advance for any thoughts or suggestions you may have in this area!

I'm also happy to check out any "must-adds" you might recommend. Please keep any recommendations under USD $3 though (the current decklist has some slightly more expensive pieces, but it's just cards-on-hand ... I'm doing this upgrade for a friend and they can't spend much on this).
