Reid's First Sliver

Commander / EDH

Always loved the theme behind slivers when they first came out, just started playing again so I built a deck. I haven't much luck with it, though I suspect it's more from my lack of playing skill more so than cards. But it is my first built deck, so there's that. I chose the Hivelord as commander, over the Overlord/First Sliver, because being able to tutor whichever sliver I may need depending upon the circumstances. Last time I looked I saw a few cards that need to be replaced, just haven't yet. Whatever advice I can get to be more successful in my casual EDH group would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update I removed many of the dual lands that enter tapped. I found them to hold me back more than help. I also removed several slivers that shared abilities with others, reducing redundancy and freeing up room for more artifacts/instants/sorceries. I added some triomes and mana rocks. I also added the root sliver, which allows for counter free sliver casting. With these updates I found I have been able to get the Sliver Overlord out so much quicker, normally on turn 5, which then gets the ball rolling quite well.
