Greetings friends,

Gather around the Heartwood Storyteller to play some Dungeons & Dragons.

I am a great fan of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). I am also a fan of Magic. Both of these games are made by WOTC. WOTC has been trying to hint towards a convergence of the two games. Not an entire convergence, but a fluid play from one to the other. The plane shift booklets that have been made for 5th edition are settings for those who wish to play Dungeons & Dragons in Zendikar, Amonkhet, Innistrad, and so on.

I had a spark of an idea. "What if I create a deck that was a tribute to the other game? An entire commander/EDH deck that was D&D themed.", I thought to myself. This is to be more of a casual deck, yet it could become competitive. I wanted to include races, classes, spells, encounters, etc. Some examples include the famous City of Brass in the Elemental Plane of Fire, the Fireball spell the wizard can cast, and the Treasure Map   the players find that will lead them onto their next adventure. I chose to make the commander O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami, a spirit that is a dragon. I think it could resemble the spirit of D&D.

I am open to any suggestions. I am treating this deck as more of a love letter to Dungeons & Dragons. Like in Dungeons & Dragons, we can work together build upon this deck. Perhaps, we can develop fun adventures each commander/EDH game as the tides turn. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
