MAIN GOALS

Use token duplication and sacrifice outlets to multiply eggs and break them open! My most consistent and refined version

Uses green and colorless for early ramp and to hit the 4 mana threshold to drop Atla and start making eggs. White helps balance early control with mid-game board protection. Red gets the deck some interesting win conditions and combos.

SACRIFICE OUTLETS

Ways we will be opening the eggs for more value

Ashnod's Altar turns eggs into mana to synergize with Thornbite Staff (infinite), Patriar's Seal, and Rings of Brighthearth, all of which make the untap free.

Phyrexian Altar is a second, 'weaker' Ashnod's Altar. It is good for the same reasons, it just adds one less mana. HOWEVER, it adds colored mana instead of just colorless, so it can be good for filtering mana.

Martyr's Cause turns eggs into protection from opponents threats. Good in 4 player, even better in 1v1.

Skullclamp turns eggs into card draw. The +1/-1 perfectly executes the eggs and for the 1 mana equip cost. Drawing 2 cards and cheating out a big creature is too good to turn down.

Goblin Bombardment helps clear low health early game threats and apply chip damage.

Spawning Pit kills eggs and makes more duplicatable tokens to sure up a board state or go wide for a Craterhoof/Moonshaker turn.

High Market is not the best, but it can get you started on egg cracking in a pinch (and adds mana!)

Mondrak, Glory Dominus is a token multiplier and sacrifice outlet. Since it is a creature you can hit it off of an egg, and can be searched out with Time of Need.

Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus kills off eggs and can win games on its own if it sticks.

Ghired's Belligerence is great targeted removal, you can use it to crack eggs, and best of all, it populates. This card is hard to put in one category because it just does so much.

TOKEN MULTIPLIERS

Most of these are self explanatory. Eggs are tokens and these make more.

Anointed Procession

Parallel Lives

Doubling Season

Primal Vigor

Mondrak, Glory Dominus doubles tokens. Given the numerous token sources in the deck, that speaks for itself. What makes this card so much better than our other sources of token doubling, is its ability to be tutored out by creature-tutoring cards. You are much more likely to double off of this than any other source.

Ghired's Belligerence populates. Most of it's strength comes from it being both a removal and sac source, but the populate is what pushes it into being a must include.

Patriar's Seal is a 3 cost mana rock at worst, but ideally should be used to un-tap Atla to make more eggs.

Thornbite Staff is a 2 cost artifact that can go infinite by untapping and resaccing with Ashnod's altar. Additionally, it instantly equips to Atla if it comes down before her because of her shaman typing.

Rings of Brighthearth is a three cost artifact that lets you pay 2 to duplicate a non-mana ability. This used to double up on the most important ability triggers in the deck.

BIG CREATURES

What we will be getting out of the eggs, and why I like them (the meat and potatoes of the deck.)

Ghalta, Primal Hunger is a 12/12, and is very consistently played for only two green from hand. You either hit this with an egg, or hit something else and then play this.

Worldspine Wurm is a massive 15/15 that with break into 3 5/5 creature tokens (that can be doubled!)

Void Winnower is a lockout that can insta-win games.

Zacama, Primal Calamity. I love this card in dinosaur tribal, but it fills a completely different role here. Pulling Zacama from an egg gets you a 9/9 that, if it sticks, can ping, heal, AND control the board. It also importantly doesn't feel dead from hand, like some big drops might, because of its land-untapping ETB. It's an absolute house.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope protects your board with invincibility. This keeps important enchants and engines safe, while the sacrifice outlets work around it, so you can kill off your eggs on your terms.

Zetalpa, Primal Dawn Hits hard and blocks hard. It's just a great beater with keywords.

Moonshaker Cavalry+Craterhoof Behemoth. Putting these two together because they're the same card. If you hit either at the end of an egg chain, they add insane +X/+X buffs to speed up a victory, and if hit early on, it's still a decent boost to turn-by-turn damage.

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger is lock out that can insta-win games. Doubling your mana and halving the opponents is insane to get out early. Be prepared to be Enemy #1 the second this card hits the stack.

Etali, Primal Conqueror   is a combo extender. The ETB on this version of Etali helps you get out an extra card from not only your deck but from every other players deck. Their value becomes your value.

Verdant Sun's Avatar is a ramping stabilizer. It turns all the power on your board into health, and if summoned early from the eggs, can help you heal against aggro match ups. If it sticks around it can easily spiral out of control and get you to 100+ health.

Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus is a delayed Craterhoof. As I touched on in Sacrifice Outlets, Zopandrel can not only kill eggs, but can make a pre-established or future board state stronger to push over opponents.

Titan of Industry is an absolute tool box. This card can develop a board, disrupt opponents, patch up early wounds, and protect your important pieces with shield counters. it can be great early AND great mid to late game by turning a minimum of 2 4/4 rhinos into 4 or even more when combined with token doubling.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is another form of lock out and control. She decimates early enemy boards with her -2/-2 ability, and can put your board over key break points with her +2/+2s. Be careful when using this card with Skullclamp or other counter or damage based sac outlets.

Tyrranax Rex. Beat stick. 8/8 with hard to deal with key words that can threaten lethal with toxic combined withtrample.

Ghalta and Mavren goes wide and goes tall. The attack trigger makes either a massive dinosaur or lots of tiny vampires that can be even further multiplied.

Kogla and Yidaro is targeted removal on a body. It can cycle from hand to pop artifact and enchants, or act as a finisher by gaining haste and trample.

Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines is an ETB multiplier. It lets you choose 2 twice on Titan of industry, fight twice off of Kogla and Yidaro, get from 4 all the way up to 12 cards depending on opponents off of Etali, doubles the damage from Terror of the Peaks, and if that wasn't enough, it locks out opponents from their own ETBs.

Terror of the Peaks is a very big win condition. Directly turns what you summon out of eggs into immediate, directed damage. Consider if the damage is better used as removal or direct player damage when choosing targets for this ability in-game.

Mondrak, Glory Dominus is here for reasons stated in above sections.

Dockside Extortionist is absolutely nuts. Normally a 1/2 out of eggs is disappointing, but in a multiple player game it can be ridiculous. easily makes enough mana to fund multiple turns and can be used from hand early on to kickstart your egg making.

SYNERGIES AND COMBOS

A list of synergies that I've found to be effective and enjoy.

Defense of the Heart punishes opponents for going even a bit wide.

Any lock out + Any other lock out ('oh, you thought you could play the game?') Vorinclex to ramp and slow their mana Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to stop early wide board synergizes Void Winnower to stop even costed threats like counter spells and many spooky creatures and tutors

Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines + Any Swingy ETB Turns Titan of Industry into a massive early board Plays a bunch of cards of off Etali Craterhoof or Moonshaker to massively buff your board

Worldspine Wurm + token duplication + a sacrifice outlet jumps from a tall 15/15 to a wide 30/30 or more

This is the end of my break down! please leave recommendations and opinions in the comments for consideration and discussion
