Toshiro control deck: very simple in form, but a bit tricky to pull off. In broad strokes, here's what a game looks like:

Early: Ramp and let the game come to you. Everyone knows you're heavy on kill spells, but don't tick anyone off. Use your removal as a deterrent for attackers, and don't be too proactive unless an absolute problem creature hits the field or a known combo piece.

Mid: Break out Toshiro and utilize kill spells for card advantage (i.e., re-use what you've tossed into the graveyard during the early game), keep up on those land drops.

Late: Demonic TutorGC, Vampiric TutorGC twice!, Shred Memory or draw into one of the 2CMC game-ending spells Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire, or assemble the Chain of Smog/Prof Onyx combo

Tricky bonuses: Hatred could knock someone out with an unblocked Toshiro and some life to trade. False Cure is a delicious move, as is Tainted Strike on a 4/4 then using it again on another 4/4 with Toshiro to knock someone out.

As per the title: I generally go for spy novels, but it's unfair to not include Agatha Christie so long as we decide to collectively ignore the original--and then second pass at--titling this truly great book.
