This is a budget pillow fort deck helmed by Queen Marchesa. The deck aims to build a fort using strong incentives, such as No Mercy and Solitary Confinement to become a poor target for attacks. Meanwhile, the deck promotes aggressive play - hoping to convince the remaining players to kill each other while we are hunkering down in safety. We then ideally win by exploiting the last opponent's own strengths by for instance playing a spell like Backlash or the final mode of Rakdos Charm.

Note that it is often a very good idea to introduce the monarchy and try to lose it. This will allow you to slowly build an army of deathtouch assassins while your opponents fight each other. If the monarchy is needed to sustain the fort, such as maintaining Solitary Confinement by grabbing the Monarch marker.

Playing this deck on a budget works surprisingly well, especially in regards to such a slow mana base. Taking things slowly hurts this deck way less than most. There are some really good toolbox cards such as Comeuppance and Inkshield that hurt to exclude, though.
