Bogardan Dragonheart Atarka Monument Dragonsoul Knight Dromoka Monument Kolaghan Monument Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker Ojutai Monument Silumgar Monument Cave of the Frost Dragon. A lot of these aren't creatures, albeit there just aren't a lot of creatures and planeswalkers specifically that transform into or become dragons. Happy hunting, cheers!

Sweet deck! If you are needing another sac outlet that happens to be a more easily tutored (for Gruul) creature, you may want to take a look at Bogardan Dragonheart . At three mana is quite cheap for this color pair.

this is a lot of cards, and more are sure to come out that I want to include. I'm considering making a modern cube in addition to my legacy cube, or maybe expanding the cube altogether. I really don't want to go to 720, and honestly I would prefer 360 with a regular rotation of cards, but I don't play the cube often enough to justify that so for now it sticks to 720.

Also--I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner-- Ethereal Armor (maybe instead of Weight of Conscience ) could used on an activated Bogardan Dragonheart for an even quicker finisher. Or put it on any non-flyer for just a regular ol' beater.

I would try dropping the 2x Bloodfell Caves in favor of another each of Scoured Barrens and Wind-Scarred Crag . With 50% of your deck being white, you always want or something else. Also, consider losing a Swamp and a mountain in favor of either 2x Secluded Steppe 1x Polluted Mire and 1x Smoldering Crater , because I also think you need some draw.

I feel like a full playset of Impact Tremors should be in this deck, maybe by going down to 3-of on some of your other enchantments. Either that or Hissing Iguanar ... or replace Bogardan Dragonheart and use them both! Which is what I would do. But I love Impact Tremors too much so....

Apostle's Blessing should be in your sideboard, btw.

I know it's not an enchantment, but also consider squeezing in some Altar's Reap s somewhere, because draw.

@Blue_Flame, I thought about Answered Prayers . It's only really consistent if I have a sac outlet meaning it would only work with my other wincon Bogardan Dragonheart or by chance of top-decking a creature. If I want another aerial beater I'd like it to work more independently or have a more direct synergy with my deck.

Your manabase seems pretty good, I don't think 6 taplands is too little, plus you have Ash Barrens to find the basics you need.

I think your deck could utilize the new Answered Prayers from Modern Horizons pretty well - you have a decent number of creatures and plenty of ways to recur it.

The Bogardan Dragonheart - Kaya's Ghostform - Ironclad Slayer / Monk Idealist package seems kind of interesting; I'm interested to see how that works out in practice, but initally it seems clunky/slow to me.

I think if you were to make room to add TortEx/Grave Scrabbler it would indeed dilute too much away from your initial strategy. Your deck currently lacks ways to fuel cards into the graveyard like typical TortEx builds like Commune with the Gods and Vessel of Nascency , which are outside of your deck's colors. Maybe if you switched to Abzan instead of Mardu it could work, but as of now it just seems kinda unrealistic.
