Update 1

Removed 1 oblivion ring into 1 Inferno Titan
Changes in the deck no. 5
prihodaj, 11 years ago
MB: -1 Groundswell -> +1 Inkmoth Nexus
SB:
-2 Postmortem Lunge, -1 Llanowar Augur, -1 Wild Defiance
+2 Torpor Orb, +2 Fog
After plenty of tests I recognised, that Fog is the best trick against aggro decks and won many games because of casting it. The most powerful is in the mirror game, when opponent pump his infect creature for full, next turn he is dead.
Inkmoth Nexus is really important for every infect dech! I didnt beleive it, but when I tried it, I must say that I cannot imagine the game without it now!
And Torpor Orb is very useful against huge range of the modern decks!
What do you think about these changes? I will be grateful for your oppinion and suggestions. Looking forwad your comments ;)

Update #1
Irishbrand, 11 years ago
Replaced 1x Divination with 1x Underworld Connections. Anger of the Gods will stay Maindecked due to Weenie Hate, Sylvan Carytid removal.
Lategame damage
ggjeff, 11 years ago
After some play testing the deck showed alot of promise. It was lacking in late game finishers though. I just kept the opponents' hands and battlefields empty, while applying 2/3 damage every turn. Wich was taking too long in my opinion. So I added 3x Nighthowler. Might swap Omenspeaker for Wight of Precinct Six

Another Maindeck Update
DenzelPretzel, 11 years ago
-3 Island
+3 Tolaria West
-2 Vapor Snag
+2 Unsummon
A Pact of Negation is pretty important in the game so 3 more transmutes wouldn't hurt.
I also find Unsummon to actually be better in this deck's case. Sometimes I also need to bounce my own creatures to protect them from combo breakers in which case I don't want to lose life. Even 1 life is important. If ever I use it on the enemy, the 1 life the enemy loses doesn't really matter because the combo will deal tons of damage quickly.

3v3 Playtest

Well, this deck *would* have done fairly well if only I had been able to keep Doran out. He was a huge target (not really surprising). I also might end up taking a land or two out because I was drawing a fair amount of land and not much else. All in all, not disappointing but not satisfying either.

Put in 2 extra Supreme Verdict and an Elspeth, Sun's Champion.
Slowly getting more expensive, but they really add to the deck imo.

Schuch, 11 years ago

- 1 Land

- General Melek, Izzet Paragon replaced with Jhoira of the Ghitu
- both are great Generals for the deck and I'll test them both out, but I'll try Jhoira first
- Removed Crumbling Necropolis - produces Black mana
- Added Turn / Burn - destroys Indestructible creatures
- Added more boardwipes.

I remade the entire deck after noticing a fatal flaw in my deck, thank you Moorbeta for bringing it to my attention!!
I added a splash of black for Hell's Caretaker and Footsteps of the Goryo, and added 2x Primalcruxs for late game hitting power.
Once again, thank you Moorbeta!

More New Cards
enpc, 11 years ago
New order arrived, new upgrades are:
Forest out for Forbidden Orchard
Sever the Bloodline out for Vampiric Tutor
Spell Crumple out for Hinder
Fabricate out for Rhystic Study
I am starting to consider the addition of either Peregrine Drake or Palinchron to the deck. I know this is one of he most heavily used and boring infinite mana combos, however it requires no graveyard interaction which is beneficial. Probably will ditch Scavenging Ooze for one of the two.

jan2692wal, 11 years ago
I changed the commander to Thraximundar. The basic premise of sac-ing things is still the idea behind the deck, and infinite combos are welcome.

Updating this deck to try and make it competitive while keeping it's evolving factor
First thing to clarify with all is that Reverent Hunter does not trigger evolve because it enters the battlefield as a 1/1 first which would only gain it's counters only after it hits the battlefield thus no trigger. Be sure not to make this mistake when playing this deck but enter the battlefield cards like Nessian Demolok and Mistcutter Hydra so long the power or toughness at that the time when it enters the battlefield is greater than either to trigger evolve
You still can use Vastwood Hydra and others in the maybeboard to switch out for the more expensive cards like Scavenging Ooze and Courser of Kruphix but here are the reasons why i include them in.....
-
You need substain in the case when the game get dragged into mid/late games and these 2 provides them
-
Scavenging Ooze deters people from attacking you with creatures in the graveyard in case of combat tricks and lifegains which is a huge removal magnet instead of your evolving ones . Not to mention that he is one to "evolve" too through the effects of Renegade Krasis when it evolves should you have a counter on it when it triggers
-
Courser of Kruphix does a lot in the deck.
It is a 2/4 for 3 mana , easy trigger for evolve with that big butt early stage and massive blocker against creatures like Brimaz, King of Oreskos
Fixes your extra land cards on top of your library after your first draw of the turn and gives 1 life for each land card you put in play for each Courser of Kruphix in play
Another huge removal magnet instead of your evolving creatures
More is to be tested with the deck and sideboard isn't included because the meta differs from places so build ya own sideboards people heha ~
