Green Player:"Nope, it's fine. Every creature entering the battlefield takes some time to cuddle with my commander. Look at its fluffy fur. Who wouldn't want to cuddle it? Just ignore the inch-long claws.

The fluffiest mana rock of all time!

Teddy G is one masterpiece of a ramp commander. Everything big you wanna cast costs {2} less. That's huge. And combined with green's draw spells (which happen to depend on big creatures more often that not), you can drown your opponents in lots of fatties and card advantage.

My favourite play is Myojin of Life's Web, removing the divinity counter and dropping all the fatties.

Why call it Gorestorm?

I felt obliged to add a new subtitle to the deck: Gorestorm! Why? Because once set up, the deck really feels like a storm deck. With a mana doubler and enough card draw, I can end up having a turn of casting like 15 fatties, which is why Surrak and Goreclaw come in really handy with their ability to give haste to my board. So while Gorestorm isn't quite as gory of a concept as it sounds, it feels appropriate here.

Keeping the Claws at the ready!

The deck has many permanents that draw cards whenever either a creature enters the battlefield under my control or I cast a creature spell. Selvala, Heart of the Wilds is the latest addition to this category. Colossal Majesty draws cards on my upkeep with just my commander out, and more draw is included in the form of Return of the Wildspeaker, Shamanic Revelation and Rishkar's Expertise.

To play cards from the top of my library, I Augur of Autumn. Fierce Empath and Shared Summons are tutors.

The other kind of value the deck has is the recursion: Eternal Witness is fairly basic, but the real power starts in the higher slots: Paleoloth synergizes perfectly with our fatties and can even recurr Witness for recursion beyond creatures.

Furry Armor!

There also is protection for Goreclaw and my other creatures: The deck contains Archetype of Endurance, Spearbreaker Behemoth, Saryth, the Viper's Fang, Temur Sabertooth and Wrap in Vigor. With these, Goreclaw can unfold her full potential without any disturbance.

Let the bodies hit the floor!

What would a deck be without at least a little interaction? Among others, we have Beast Within, Terastodon, Nature's Claim, Reclamation Sage, Ezuri's Predation, Thorn Mammoth and Bane of Progress. These make sure our ambush of teeth and claws won't be interrupted by something as pesky as blockers.

The Hunting Grounds!

All of these thing cost mana, so the deck naturally has a lot of ramp. Besides the usual mana rocks and land tutors like Cultivate, I also included some mana doublers/tripplers in Zendikar Resurgent, Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Nyxbloom Ancient and Patron of the Orochi. The latter even does double-duty by granting our creature pseudo vigilance. There also are some mana dorks for early ramp. Gaea's Touch allow for additional land drops while also being a ritual effect if needed. Defiler of Vigor is a powerful ramp card that makes going off even more impressive. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild becomes huge, accelerates my mana and kind of gives a little protection from cards that can remove nonland permanents.

Bring on the beef!

In a deck as full of quality beef as this, creatures have to be really big to be in here just for the stats. Thus, there are only three of these: Ghalta, Primal Hunger is basically free most of the time. Worldspine Wurm is enormous and really hard to deal with. Managorger Hydra gets huge in no time and can deal tons of damage.

Ringing the Food Bell!

Finally, there is what ends games: The finishers are, as if you wouldn't already know, our various Overruns: Besides the Overrun on legs that is our commander, the deck has Return of the Wildspeaker, Siege Behemoth and God-Eternal Rhonas. Unnatural Growth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus are special in this regard as they grow my creatures again and again turn after turn.
